The vertical lathes of the TVU product line of Berthiez are especially suited for machining engine and turbine components, which are primarily used in the aerospace industry as well as for alternative and classical power generation. The TVU vertical lathes are characterized by a complete cast design, highprecision static and dynamic positioning as well as longlasting reliability. Advantages of the TVU vertical turning lathes are, completely cast iron construction, high static and dynamic axis stability, high accuracies and long term reliability. For higher flexibility the machine can be equipped with several pallet change systems and adaptable milling heads. The optional Yaxis table traverse will permit the turning, milling and grinding of complex components in a single clamping.

The RVU grinding machines set new standards in highprecision machining and are especially suitable for high precision grinding applications in the bearing and aerospace industries. The range can be equipped with up to four watercooled grinding spindles which can achieve a performance of 45 kW at 18,000 rev/min. (according to the type of grinding wheel selected) The RVU facilitates a complete machining processing without interruption as optional dressing units, grinding wheel changers and workpiece measurement are available. The intermittent Form Fill and Seal machines flexo 500/700 Push are pusher-machines that wrap difficult products with ease, such as glass bottles in bundles or salt and pepper shakers. They collect and group the products in order to subsequently push them into the film. Tecnimodern's slanted or vertical form fill and seal machines with very low loading height allow the production of polyethylene or polypropylene film bags from a flat film roll. The film can be neutral or coloured, with continuous printing or centred with print mark. The YSTRAL inline dispersing machines work according to the rotor-stator system. The dispersing machine is suitable for the production of suspensions, solutions and emulsions in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Due to the close radial gap between rotor and stator and the high circumferential speed of the rotating rotor, very large shear gradients are generated. The product enters the shear zone through the slots between the rotor teeth and leaves it again via the stator slots. Due to the multi-tooth configuration of rotor and stator, additional mechanical forces act on the product to be dispersed. The product is guided through a rotor-stator system. The liquid is highly accelerated by the inner rotor ring, is completely decelerated at the stator ring and then accelerated again to maximum speed via the next rotor ring. In this way, solid particles and/or droplets are effectively comminuted and homogeneously distributed.

The tool shaft can be easily disconnected from the drive, e.g. for cleaning, while continuing to work with a second shaft. The tool shaft has a shaft bearing separate to the motor, which is driven via a plug connection. The possibility of adding a mobile lifting stand offers additional flexibility. Batch sizes from 5 to 1,000 l are covered by the X50, X100 and X200 series. The X100/X50 adapter enables an X100 to be used to produce batches ranging from 5 to 1,000 l. By simply exchanging the shafts, it is possible to conduct jet mixing, mixing dispersion, dispersion, powder aspiration and wetting.
