SAMSYS offers Spindle Liner for draw tube diameters from 38mm to 100mm. The length of the reduction tube depends on the length of the draw tube, as well as the clamping device and the type of clamping cylinder. The reduction tube consists of a precision steel tube as support tube (1). In order to ensure optimum guidance, the rear (2) and the front (3) guide are adapted to the lathe. Mounting as well as dismounting can be done in a very short time with a few simple steps, as the reduction tube is only attached to the clamping cylinder with two screws. The POM bushings (4) can be flexibly adapted to the material diameter. Since you do not need to store a reduction tube for every diameter, you save valuable storage space. A Water pan extension (5) is also available as an option for safe covering and splash protection.

The Mini Shaft Loader allows you to load short shafts. The loading is done automatically. Do you have remnants of long bar feeder and would you like to process them? Or do you want to load very short shafts automatically? The MSL is the ideal complement for the Multi-3000 to load short shafts. It has a multi-profile loading prism. So you can load round and hexagonal material and all this without changing channels. Special profiles are possible on request. Impact-free recharging thanks to the exclusive recharging cycle. The recharging cycle is based on the patented recharging mechanism of the Multi 3000. After fast and precise bar removal, the material is gently placed on the loading prism. The Mini Shaft Loader is connected to the bar feeder. This takes over the power supply and control of the loading system. The material is fed via the slide of the loading magazine.

ar feeder for special profiles wanted ? To extend the MULTI 3000 to the bar feeder for special profiles, the Uni-erector can be mounted optionally. It enables the erection of rectangular profiles and special profiles for further transport to connected machine tools. Thus a smooth reloading process is possible. By simply setting a parameter, the erector can be selected or deselected. This enables a quick changeover from round material to a special profile. By deactivating it, the bar loader can load round or hexagonal material as normal. While with activated parameter the bar feeder will load the special or rectangular profile while the reloader is erecting. The use of square material is also optionally possible. The erector consists of two opposite rollers. To erect the material, these rollers move together during reloading. When the bar is threaded into the machine tool, the rollers open again. The distance between the rollers can be easily adjusted.

The AutoSAM 3.26 is an automatic bar feeder with hydrodynamic bar guidance. It is particularly suitable for connection to sliding headstock lathes (Swiss-Type). Its field of application is in small, medium and large series. Its big brother is the bar loading magazine AutoSAM 3.51. The bar feeder has a calibration-free material clamping which is carried out by collets. This saves time for material change due to the automatic centric positioning. Four clamping jaws ensure maximum hold while the collet is being pulled onto the bar. The Mitsubishi PLC control system with PC board ensures extreme process reliability and simplifies communication with the lathe. Compatible with almost all types of lathes. For example Citizen, Star, Nomura, Mazak, Okuma, DMG Mori, SMEC, Doosan, Nakamura, CMZ, Takamaz and many more.

The AutoSAM 3.51 is an automatic bar feeder with hydrodynamic bar guidance. Its field of application is in small, medium and large series. Just like its little brother, the Bar loading magazine AutoSAM 3.26, it is well suited for connection to sliding headstock lathes (Swiss type). The spindle extension SamSpindle, has been specially designed for the extension of lathe spindles. Together with the bar feeder Multi 3000 it forms a safe, clean and efficient solution. The SamSpindle operates oil and air free. There is no mechanical connection to the lathe. Only a minimum of moving parts and masses. These are: the rotating bar, the guide rings and the inner cage of the ball bearings. The guide rings mounted in the roller bearings keep the bars in the centre of the SamSpindle cartridge. Thanks to this technique, round or test bars can be rotated at high speed, ensuring remarkably smooth running. You can turn drawn, round or profile bars, with correct straightness, at the maximum spindle speed of the lathe. This allows us to guarantee workpieces with high precision. The SamSpindle spindle extension offers maximum safety. It does not allow access to parts in motion. The moving parts are all enclosed in the SamSpindle cartridge, which is closed by a safety nut.

Further features are the smooth material feed, an optimal control and monitoring of the material feed, as well as the exact positioning of the bar without mechanical stop. HPM Breeze is the consequent development of the common CL-, MQL and MQCL-procedures. Fluids will be checked during the production process and applied in a certain amount at a certain time and at a predetermined location. The HPM Breeze-procedure is extremely fine with an aerosol that adheres like a dense fog around the working area. HPM Breeze forms a completely closed and highly lubricating film. Where previously many litres of liquid were necessary it is now a small fraction thereof which suffices. The HPM Breeze process is used to lubricate and cool machining processes with extremely small quantities of cooling lubricant. An air-fluid mixture that prevents the development of frictional heat with optimal lubrication is employed for this purpose. The remaining heat is dissipated with the swarf. The LSJ Z35 is offered in 2 versions. 10 bar is standard. For more demanding applications, the LSJ Z35 is available in a version with 16 bar.

Our Breeze technology has many enormous advantages over the previous classic lubrication applications. Discover enormous savings potential for mass production when using our LSJ Mini in your process. This system can be used optimally in the event of always consistent tool operations. For the machining process, an average of between 5 and 50 ml of lubricant is used per process hour and tool. These consumption values can also be briefly — depending on the requirements of the individual operation — increased to up to 200 ml per process hour. Application possibilities and advantages of the TCJ series If you use a fluid or fluids up to a viscosity of max. 100 mm²/s at 20 °C (except for substances containing paint, resin and glue), then our self-priming systems of the TCJ series are just the right thing for you. The advantage of our TCJ system is that it reduces and prevents dirt ingress into your process. Our 10- and 25-litre systems are adapted to commercially available fluid containers. This allows the container to be directly changed — without cumbersome refilling. The result is no dirt in the container and thus a process that continues to function optimally. Our absolute classic. Probably the most frequently sold spray head in the world. Universal spray head, very robust and suitable for all applications. Due to the large channel diameters and a direct supply, our HTR spray head can also be used with especially critical and viscous media. The quantity is dosed in the front at the nozzle. Our HTR spray head is available in two variants: The HTRR spray head has an M6 thread for fastening to a customer-side mount. The HTRB spray head has a ball joint. This allows it to be attached flexibly and precisely with the flexible HPM Technologie mounts. All of our spray heads are available individually or as a spray head group. The spray head group contains air and fluid connections (check valve) for the distributor. An optional check valve mounted on the spray head prevents the fluid from dripping out through the spray head in the case of a critical line route or critical positioning

The brand-new PPJ system impresses not only with its well-conceived components and size but also with its innovative form. In this system, we have combined our decades of experience in an attractive design. The independent regulation of fluid and spray air pressure achieves excellent results even with higher-viscosity media. Available for up to 6 spray heads and in versions with 1, 3 and 5 litres, this system has a very compact design and therefore takes up extremely little space when installed. The system is suitable for the initial equipment of machines as well as for subsequent installation. The PPJ system can be used with our spray heads (starting on p. 20) and the JOP drip-feed dosing device (p. 30) up to a maximum viscosity of 2300 mm²/s at 20 °C or 500 mm²/s at 40 °C (except for substances containing paint, resin and glue).

The deburring grinding machine is a manually operated, user-friendly deburring machine that is suitable for various machining processes such as grinding, deburring, edge rounding and polishing of metal surfaces. The swivel arm can rotate 180° and enables the simultaneous mounting of two machining discs. The machine is equipped with a vacuum system that fixes the workpiece on the table.

With Conventional Feed Lines, the focus lies on speed and material surface. That’s why Conventional Feed Lines are equipped with a Coil Reel for pull-off, a Straightener with variable frequency drive a coil loop and a Servo Roll Feed: the loop uncouples the more inert straightening process from the highly dynamic indexing process and thus allows for high line speeds and preservation of the material surface. Since productivity and capacity demands can vary significantly, we have created different control concepts: while small Feed Lines work with a simple pneumatic drag brake at the Coil Reel and an ultrasonic sensor to control the Straightener speed, the large Feed Lines get fully synchronized controls with motor-limited Coil Reels and a smart loop, creating a steady average speed of the whole line. This allows smooth pull-off of high coil weights while the loop remains very calm – in addition, the Servo Roll Feed can work with full dynamics, even at long indexing progressions.

Most Winding Lines process one single coil (single-layer winding). There are however also applications where multiple layers are wound: With this process, the rewinding Coil Reel (Rewinder for short) reverses horizontally and orderly puts one layer beside the other, creating one long coil. This will make sense when narrow slit coil materials of small weight and – depending on their thickness – usually short running lengths would require frequent changeovers. Here, a layer-wound coil provides much longer productive time. The “elongation” by the way is done by butt-welding the coil strip ends. We offer this complete technology – including our own end-joining equipment and an adapted servo layering axis for the Rewinder. For thick strips we build vertical straighteners to correct the frequently occurring camber defect.

A perfect combination of space savings and dynamics: the GSW Compact Feed Lines Our Compact Feed Lines are an ideal answer to the challenge of a constraint floor and necessity to process thick materials. Marrying the processes of leveling and indexing into one Feeder-Straightener machine allows for a complete Feed Line with only two individual machines and thus greatly reduces the necessary length. Additionally, the decoupling of the coil mass from the indexing process – achieved through a short loop between Coil Reel and Feeder-Straightener – enables dynamic feeding despite the compact footprint. And, if cross-sections are especially big, the loop can be spared completely, creating yet more space. One more advantage, virtually a by-product out of their very nature, is the quicker set-up of our Compact Feed Lines. This elevates them to not only space- but also time-savers!

When you deal with industrial surface treatment and your expertise is the cleaning, brushing, polishing or coating of strip steel, you most likely do not want to spend any worries about the run of the material. That’s where our Winding Lines keep your worries away – because they take care of a safe run! They work with high tension and special monitoring and deflectors to do this, with the result of a clean wound beginning to end. The machine design thus calls for especially high drive power and precision expansion systems; even something so simple as the machine base is designed special to cope with the forces… To control the precision of one layer to the next, we utilize external edge controls and servo-drive the Reels for adjustment. This way we meet the typical low tolerances in this industry – after all, the coil is the product!

The frame and the door are made of stainless steel and the device carrier is made of aluminum. The door closes even when standard plugs are inserted and can be locked with a profile half-cylinder lock. The 5722E flush-mounted wall distributor is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The wall distributor is delivered in the special colors DB701 or DB703 (gray tones) as standard. The RVU grinding machines set new standards in highprecision machining and are especially suitable for high precision grinding applications in the bearing and aerospace industries. The range can be equipped with up to four watercooled grinding spindles which can achieve a performance of 45 kW at 18,000 rev/min.
