SAMSYS offers Spindle Liner for draw tube diameters from 38mm to 100mm. The length of the reduction tube depends on the length of the draw tube, as well as the clamping device and the type of clamping cylinder. The reduction tube consists of a precision steel tube as support tube (1). In order to ensure optimum guidance, the rear (2) and the front (3) guide are adapted to the lathe. Mounting as well as dismounting can be done in a very short time with a few simple steps, as the reduction tube is only attached to the clamping cylinder with two screws. The POM bushings (4) can be flexibly adapted to the material diameter. Since you do not need to store a reduction tube for every diameter, you save valuable storage space. A Water pan extension (5) is also available as an option for safe covering and splash protection.

ar feeder for special profiles wanted ? To extend the MULTI 3000 to the bar feeder for special profiles, the Uni-erector can be mounted optionally. It enables the erection of rectangular profiles and special profiles for further transport to connected machine tools. Thus a smooth reloading process is possible. By simply setting a parameter, the erector can be selected or deselected. This enables a quick changeover from round material to a special profile. By deactivating it, the bar loader can load round or hexagonal material as normal. While with activated parameter the bar feeder will load the special or rectangular profile while the reloader is erecting. The use of square material is also optionally possible. The erector consists of two opposite rollers. To erect the material, these rollers move together during reloading. When the bar is threaded into the machine tool, the rollers open again. The distance between the rollers can be easily adjusted.

HPM Breeze is the consequent development of the common CL-, MQL and MQCL-procedures. Fluids will be checked during the production process and applied in a certain amount at a certain time and at a predetermined location. The HPM Breeze-procedure is extremely fine with an aerosol that adheres like a dense fog around the working area. HPM Breeze forms a completely closed and highly lubricating film. Where previously many litres of liquid were necessary it is now a small fraction thereof which suffices. The HPM Breeze process is used to lubricate and cool machining processes with extremely small quantities of cooling lubricant. An air-fluid mixture that prevents the development of frictional heat with optimal lubrication is employed for this purpose. The remaining heat is dissipated with the swarf. With Conventional Feed Lines, the focus lies on speed and material surface. That’s why Conventional Feed Lines are equipped with a Coil Reel for pull-off, a Straightener with variable frequency drive a coil loop and a Servo Roll Feed: the loop uncouples the more inert straightening process from the highly dynamic indexing process and thus allows for high line speeds and preservation of the material surface. Since productivity and capacity demands can vary significantly, we have created different control concepts: while small Feed Lines work with a simple pneumatic drag brake at the Coil Reel and an ultrasonic sensor to control the Straightener speed, the large Feed Lines get fully synchronized controls with motor-limited Coil Reels and a smart loop, creating a steady average speed of the whole line. Most Winding Lines process one single coil (single-layer winding). There are however also applications where multiple layers are wound: With this process, the rewinding Coil Reel (Rewinder for short) reverses horizontally and orderly puts one layer beside the other, creating one long coil. This will make sense when narrow slit coil materials of small weight and – depending on their thickness – usually short running lengths would require frequent changeovers. Here, a layer-wound coil provides much longer productive time. The “elongation” by the way is done by butt-welding the coil strip ends. We offer this complete technology – including our own end-joining equipment and an adapted servo layering axis for the Rewinder. For thick strips we build vertical straighteners to correct the frequently occurring camber defect.
