Spunbond nonwoven fabric and PE film laminate. This polypropylene material is covered with a thin polyethylene film which creates a layer resistant to synthetic blood. The laminate can be used for the production of medical gowns and protective overalls, but it is not a breathable material. Suitable for all types of neutral or printed film (preferably with antistatic treatment) or tubular polyethylene with thickness from 0.06 mm to 0.13 mm or tubular polypropylene with from 0.03 mm to 0.05 mm thick, and cartene normal or high density. Furthermore, with the FP BAG EVO it is also possible to use expanded polyethylene (FOAM) in tubular reel with a maximum thickness of 1.5 mm. It can use reels with a width of 80-300 or 100-500 mm without disassembly of parts or changing settings. The packaging machine automatically perform the forming of the bag with the upper opening. The filling of the bag and the subsequent closing can be done manually by an operator who starts the cycle of the machine through a button, or automatically by means of feeders, manipulators, weighers. The reel change takes a maximum of thirty seconds. The machine cycle time for the preparation of a bag 200 mm long is about four seconds.

Tecnimodern's slanted or vertical form fill and seal machines with very low loading height allow the production of polyethylene or polypropylene film bags from a flat film roll. The film can be neutral or coloured, with continuous printing or centred with print mark. These TEC30 packaging machines have the advantage that they can be equipped with either a thermal sealing system for heat-sealed films or an impulse sealing system for polyethylene films, depending on requirements. New flexible polypropylene top film is a recyclable high-barrier material that can be used with heat treatments such as retort processing. Can replace multimaterial structures to comply with EU guidelines on the circular economy. PP HB ECOTOP is part of SP Group’s ECO range of recyclable monomaterial solutions. Combined with the new RST B ECO thermoformable base web, PP HB ECOTOP film is the perfect solution for vacuum-packed products that require retort processing. The structure is fully recyclable, as more than 90% of it is polypropylene. The remaining materials do not interfere in the recycling process. The PP HB ECOTOP top film is also compatible with rigid polypropylene thermoformable trays. This makes it an ideal recyclable monomaterial top film for products that require MAP, rather than vacuum packing. Properties: High-barrier material, suitable for retort processing. This heat treatment prolongs the shelf life of products, thereby helping reduce food waste.

Application: This anti-static composite hose is designed for suction and discharge use on plant or road/rail tankers with a wide range of hydrocarbons where 100% aromatic resistance is required. The hose construction is exceptionally lightweight and flexible for ease of handling yet remains robust, hardwearing and cost effective. Hose and assembling specification in accordance with BS EN 13765: 2010. Electrically resistant to less than 10 ohms, as required by BS 5842: 1980 clause 6.2. Working pressure: 14 bar (203 psi), safety factor 4:1. Vacuum 0.90 bar. Hose construction: Polypropylene and Polyethylene films and fabrics with black weather-proof and abrasion resistant outer cover wrapped and tensioned between internal and external wire spirals. Inner and outer wire spiral, galvanised carbon steel (GG). Branding: Yellow spiral tape DIXON A901 OIL TYPE 3 BS EN 13765: 2010 14 BAR 80°C PP. Temperature range: -30°C to +80°C.

Using selected low-loss, self-healing polypropylene films and sophisticated manufacturing techniques such as high-vacuum drying and special coating patterns, the best of ELECTRONICON™s design expertise and highest care in manufacturing have been spent to prepare these capacitors for your most demanding applications, and toughest ambient conditions. Our long-life MKP UHDTM contain three delta-switched capacitor elements of short height and large diameter. The optimized combination of winding length, film size, and winding geometry substantially reduces inherent power losses and allows us to achieve highest surge and rms current ratings as well as an overvoltage strength and switching stability which before would have been known only of impregnated paper capacitors. An MKP UHD™ handles up to 250% of its rated current and current surges of 400 x IN. The permitted operating temperatures range from -40°C up to 70°C maximum temperature (average over 24 hours: 60°C).

Our capacitors of the E12 and E33 series are universally-suited for lighting and motor applications as well as power factor correction and power electronics. Their winding element of self-healing polypropylene film is immersed in eco-friendly vegetable oil and designed for highest requirements regarding operational life and functional safety even at high operating temperatures and other extreme conditions such as high humidity. Connection is made through tab connectors. The hermetical aluminium can is provided with an integrated overpressure safety mechanism (break-action mechanism, " BAM ") that disconnects the capacitor irreversibly from the supply in the event of a failure. The E12/E33 ranges comply with the "Type B" classification under lighting standard IEC/EN61048 as well as with "Class P2" under motor capacitor standard IEC/EN 60252-1. Please mind our safety remarks on the use of lighting capacitors in critical environment.

AC capacitors require a hermetical casing in order to operate safely and without processes of chemical corrosion. The latter would result in deterioration of metal coating, decrease of capacitance as well as rise of loss factor and – consequentially – failure of the capacitor. DC capacitors – even though less sensitive to humidity – may suffer from excessive operating conditions as well. Another serious issue is the operation in conditions of extreme heat, and there are situations where placement in a cooling liquid is the only way. Certain high voltage applications may require the immersion of all components in insulation oil, such as MIDEL. Quite a few cooling or insulation oils behave aggressively towards metallized polypropylene, causing swelling of the film and deterioration of the contact layers. They must therefore be kept away from the capacitor elements. In the past, mostly MKV capacitors (with oil-impregnated paper electrodes) had to be used in such situations.

We are pleased to announce our new Biodegradable Polypropylene film for applications including HFFS, VFFS and Overwrapping, and we will be one of the few companies offering this exciting new film. Our polypropylene film (HSF5112B) will decompose into a waxy like substance breaking down into CO2, water and biomass in outdoor terrestrial environments (including landfill) within a maximum of two years or sooner (subject to conditions). Using additives from Polymateria in the extrusion process enables the chain-breakdown of the base material whilst maintaining recyclability and product performance.
