Nevertheless the DIN EN 1550 requires that static clamping force measurement must be performed by the manufacturer at regular intervals. Modular measuring system The TESTit clamping force gauge measures and records the clamping force for O.D. clamping and I.D. clamping and even the draw-in force of hollow tapered shank locations. TESTit consists of two parts: The basic unit, which is the IT module, and the measuring units, which are the TEST modules. You only need the IT module once – regardless of whether you want to measure the clamping force at O.D. clamping or I.D. clamping or the draw-in force.

There are several steps to be taken for a successful test and for this to work in a targeted and efficient manner, a lot of planning and preparation is necessary. We therefore create the following from your ideas or your order: the data specification, including measurement uncertainty requirement; the test concept; Design of experiments; the specifications for test bench and measurement technology; the specification for the test specimen; Implementation planning.

The MP Computer is a comfortable, comprehensive and easy-to-handle evaluation, display and control unit for different types of engine test beds. Its clear and ergonomic arrangement fascilitates the work with the test bed. Desired loads can be adjusted quickly and easily. Specialists are not required. Many optional additional functions increase enlarge the comfort of the MP Computer. Maintaining permanent accuracy of torque measurement is facilitated by a semi-automatic calibration routine. Existing engine/motor test beds can be modernized by an MP Computer. For this reason, EP-E has consistently developed into a software house specializing in measurement technology over the last few years. More than half of our development department is now working exclusively in this field.
