Our calibration laboratory is set-up to perform measurements of impedance and insertion loss over the frequency range 20Hz to 500MHz with automated systems to offer cost-effective results. Products manufactured by Cranage EMC Technology Limited are also backed up by extensive calibration facilities for the measurement of inductance, capacitance, and resistance. Many of our products have been independently calibrated with UKAS traceability and this has served to verify our measurement results. LISN's, PLIP's and CDN's are initially supplied calibrated with results documented according to our calibration procedures. Annual re-calibration is also provided on a standard traceability basis. You would receive a bound calibration record for each product submitted with measurement results and details of procedures used. This service is quoted inclusive of return UK carriage cost and is offered on a 5 days turnaround.

Regular and Adhoc Fuel Calibration & Servicing It is recommended to have tanker meters calibrated on a yearly basis to ensure that they continue to give the correct measure. Alpeco is able to offer this service on a ‘when required’ basis, or a tailored yearly service contract is available, which also includes a thorough service to all Alpeco derived equipment on the customer’s installation. Alpeco is then able to seal the equipment for public use. All Alpeco reference meters follow the same stringent guidelines as applied to all Trading Standards instruments to ensure the utmost accuracy.

Preparation is key when it comes to SF6 gas analysis. Ensuring the analyser is within calibration is fundamental to safe operation, compliant measurement and accurate testing. Our Verify NIST traceable verification gases can prove the instrument is in specification and valid for use in accordance with ISO9001 requirements for controlled measurement equipment. EMT SF6 gas verification products utilised during operation provide continued assurance that the analyser is performing as it should be, that the measurements shown are accurate, and that these are in line with the measurement values and tolerances of the supplied gas.

Schaffer Diaphragm gauges are designed for use on slurries, viscous or corrosive fluids that would normally attack or block standard bourdon tube gauges. 316 Stainless Steel full safety pattern case. Implementing specialist materials for both the connection and diaphragm enable the Shaffer Diaphragm gauge to be configured for use on any gaseous or liquid media including suspended solids or powders. The direct drive from the diaphragm to the movement ensures a more positive indication of pressure than other models of tube gauges. Offering a full range of screwed connection sizes and materials, Schaffer Diaphragm gauges can operate at pressure ranges as low as 30 mBar with the option to permit units to withstand a maximum pressure of 70 bar.

Model 5214 Standard Test Gauge Our 0.25% accuracy Standard Test Gauge is undoubtedly recognised as a world leader for its accuracy and, of course, Budenberg Quality. Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge - Defence Standard Designed for Naval and Marine applications in accordance with Def Stan 66-2. This gauge has been designed to withstand high level of shock and are all manufactured in accordance with EN837 -1. The 4" and 6" flush mounting versions are available with 3 Hole front fixing flange . Bourdon Tube Oxygen Pressure Gauge The 950GP incorporates a solid baffle wall and blow-out back for operator protection and standard features such as IP67 environmental protection, not normally available on comparative units. The 950GP is specifically manufactured for use on OXYGEN and as such is cleaned for Oxygen service with no oil or grease contamination. A restrictor in the inlet is a standard feature. The BGP base can be used with any BGP series piston, allowing testing from 15 mbar to 120 bar. The base requires a supply of gas slightly above test pressure, and has precision inlet / outlet valves and a screwpress to enable easy regulation and adjustment of pressure. The BGP1 has a 1/2in2 high chrome steel piston/cylinder unit. The design has been proven over many years to provide excellent sensitivity and stability. Low start pressure is achieved through use of a hollow piston and aluminium head. NOTE: Model BGP1 can be used on vacuum with a model 24 adaptor. All certificates issued for Budenberg Dead-weight Testers are fully traceable to national standards via equipment with UKAS calibration certificates.

The BGH series base can be used with any of the BGH series pistons to give ranges 1-120 bar with a BGH120, 2-300 bar with a BGH300, 1-700 bar with a BGH700 and 1-1200 bar with a BGH1200 . All units are top loading for ease of use and weight sets are fully interchangeable. This means that weight sets in alternative pressures are readily available and customers with more than one %*+ series tester can interchange weight sets between testers of the same range. The base features a dual area screwpress which allows low-pressure priming and high-pressure control. The BGH is a robust design, proven over many years usage. The unit has a 1/16in2 fully hardened and stabilised tool steel piston. This unit gives extremely good sensitivity for high accuracy calibration, yet is tough enough for regular use in a workshop environment.

Over time, various factors such as exposure to contaminants, age, incorrect operation, sensor deterioration, a drift in electronics or exposure to corrosive gases, can contribute to dewpoint instruments losing accuracy and reliability. To maintain accuracy and reliability, we advise an annual service and calibration. For instruments used in critical applications or aggressive environments, more frequent service and calibration intervals are recommended. Our Calibration Laboratory Engineers perform routine servicing, commissioning, fault finding, repairs and installation services in accordance with our accredited quality system. Our calibration range of -90 °C to +20 °C dewpoint is traceable to National and International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laborarory (NPL).
