Whitecroft Cotton covered Steel Boning is still made 'in house after 100 years'. It is used by professional dressmakers, costume makers & corsetry users. It is heavier than plastic boning to give weight & rigidity to ballgowns, wedding gowns, period costume and corsetry. The cotton thread binding is available in white or black and allows for stitching to hold the boning in place. The Crin steel is available in bespoke lengths by mainly in 25metre rolls. A bright magenta print for this satin feel dress in traditional silhouette. A neat body, trimmed with a frill collar and frilled cap sleeves is finished with a teal velvet pin tucked sash to the waist. The gathered skirt sits over petticoats for happy twirling. This dress is fully lined for comfort and has a hidden zip to the back for easy changing. The set includes a matching headband, in the same print as the dress, finished with a neat bow. The Millicent print is a Little Lord & Lady design. Unique to this season, it combines a strong magenta with a geometric bloom of teal, grey and white, resembling the architecture of the Cope Castle where the story is set.
