Mayfran's pneumatic swarf suction system provide for cost-effective collection of scrap from machining operations and transport to a central binning or processing operation. Available in blowing- or suction-based designs, pneumatic swarf transport offer reduced labor costs, improved cleanliness, and significantly increased uptime versus manual swarf removal activities. The systems are flexible enough to meet a wide variety of machine tool arrangements, including innovative at-the-tool design for large gantry-type machine tools.

With a range of options available, Mayfran can complete your scrap collection system with automated loadout into container, balers, bins, or trailers. Loading systems include swivel chutes, diverter chutes, or shuttle conveyors, all of which can include laser sensors and automated feedback to provide level filling and communicate status automatically to central control systems. Direct notification to scrap haulers is also possible, truly minimizing your effort in managing your scrap system.

The coolant filter for highest quality demands especially for grinding, honing and superfinishing applications. The modular design allows easy up- and downgrading and the candle filter with dry discharge is energy saving.

Mayfran drum filters have proven themselves many times over through their reliability, the flexible set-up possibilities and low operational costs for filtering the emulsion or coolant.

Machine pump back stations are the ideal solution for the transport of swarf and coolant (oil or emulsion). They are easy to retrofit nearly, to all types of machine tools. Crushers must be added at those machines producing long swarf. High pressure systems can be added easily. Swarf and coolant (oil as well as emulsion) will be conveyed through pipes to a central filter or processing plant

The Centrifuge takes in a slurry of chips and coolant, separates the coolant out by high speed spinning, leaving dry chips.

More and more, strict environmental requirements oblige companies to process the swarf and dispose of them in a dry condition. The reclaimed coolant is to be fed back in to the production process. The VBU centrifuges are available in different dimension and are used for continuous operations

The lift bottom centrifuge is designed for continuous operations. This up and down motion of the live bottom pushes the chips upward through the sieve. The centrifugal force, up to 500 times the force of gravity, will dry the chips, resulting in the maximum degree of de-oiling. The remaining oil content is extremely low. The dry chips fall down over the edge of the drum into a container. The are different models and different drives available.
