Special custom solutions and individual production processes keep us on our toes and present us with new challenges which we love to find solutions for. For over four decades, we have been active in this field which has expanded ever more as time went on. As a result, we now have three departments: Department I: OFT = Surface technology: Includes: Tool drives, flexible shafts and other surface treatment products (such as drive units for flexible shafts, pneumatic drives, micromotors, collets, abrasives, milling cutters, etc.). Department II: VST = Adjustment elements: Remote control and power transmission elements; adjustment and regulation. Department III: Special coils and tubes. One reason for our success is the way we take note of our customers' individual requirements.

In our company, HFP Bandstahl in Bad Salzungen, we now look back on more than 100 years of experience in cold rolling and almost 150 years in the metal business. With over 250 employees, it is also our largest location. Cold-rolled steel strips in accordance with EN 10139/10140 in market standard grades, rolled to any strength class, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 2.50 mm and widths between 4 and 525 mm. Cold-rolled case-hardening steel, heat-treated steel and spring steel in accordance with EN 10132 T1-4/10140 in market standard grades, strength classes G or G + K, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 1.80 mm and widths between 10 and 370 mm. Surface finish: Normal bright annealed, custom roughened or polished as well as crack-free and non-porous, level-wound coils, stretched ultra-flat and/or degreased.

For more than 70 years, RUFF has been building both toroidal winders and turret winding machines, and its name stands for the highest quality worldwide. In 2002, RUFF expanded its product range when it came to linear winding machines. The LW models range from small bench machines for fine wires to heavy floor machines for coils of several flat wires. We process belt and sheet material from 0.2 to 6 mm sheet thickness. We have invested in optimised machine units especially for processing aluminium strips, but not only for this purpose. Automatic punching presses, hydraulic presses and eccentric presses with pressing forces up to 3150 kN process belts/coils up to 600 mm wide. Tight dimensional tolerances, high flatness requirements and other technically demanding quality features are produced by us and partly controlled "in line". With our cleaning systems, which use organic, CHC-free cleaning agents in an environmentally friendly manner, we are also able to meet special cleanliness requirements – based on current standards for residual dirt identification. Through responsible management, we ensure that high quality standards – based on customer requirements – are achieved. Flat structures ensure careful, target-oriented and fast implementation of our customer orders.
