With the pneumatron®, Barbara Deny-Jahnke is dedicated to raising the profile of pneumatic pulsation therapy (PPT) in memory of her father, medical practitioner Stefan Deny. It was his idea to devise and create an innovative pulsating suction device that inspired Barbara Deny-Jahnke from an early age. She grew up with the idea at the forefront of her mind. Her father spent every spare minute researching the perfect positive vibration frequency for his pulsation device and then registered his invention for a patent. Every new idea needs time to establish itself. Back then, nobody had any experience of mechanically generated vibrations in body tissue. Cupping was familiar, but pulsation-based cupping was completely unknown at the time. Barbara Deny-Jahnke's commitment and determination have been integral to the success of pneumed GmbH. Today, the company is a well-established name in the health industry.
