The dissolver is equipped with a hydraulic drive for lifting the traverse, on which the shaft with the tool and the lid are mounted. All parts that are in contact with the product are made of food or technical stainless steel (customer's choice). Turnovers are regulated from 50 to 1500 rpm. (possibly from 50 to 3000 rpm) using a frequency converter. For more viscous products, it is possible to manufacture a dissolver with two or three working shafts, one of which will have a milling cutter, and the other will have a low-speed stirrer, for example, an anchor type with cleaning elements, and on the third - a high-speed stirrer.

Right hand cutting solid reamers with extra long shanks. The front end of these reamers is ground to act as pilot. The cutting edges are precision ground with a gradually increasing relief angle to eliminate chattering and to permit easy and smooth chip formation. The reamers are provided with a hard chromium coating. The very hard chromium coating reduces friction, giving improved chip flow and reducing the tendency for built-up edges.

Right-hand cutting reamers with adjustable blades and with extra long cylindrical shank with square. Cutting edges with the unique Hunger special grinding (progressively increasing clearance angle) ensure a soft and smooth cut. A guide bush, which can be supplied in addition to each reamer size and which is pressed against the valve seat during reaming, facilitates handling and enables optimum accuracy. (see leaflet) The blades of the reamer are made of special steel, which is characterized by particularly good edge retention. In the "hard chrome" version, the blades are also hard chrome-plated. The hard chrome layer is characterized by high hardness and low coefficient of friction. Reamers of the "hard chrome" version are therefore particularly suitable for reaming materials with a high wear effect and materials that tend to stick and form built-up edges.

Application With the PVM1 assembly set, worn valve guides can be quickly and easily removed from the cylinder head and new valve guides inserted into the cylinder head. The assembly set is particularly suitable for motorcycle, car and commercial vehicle workshops. Features The air hammer can also be used to drive valve seat inserts out of the cylinder head. For this purpose a Hunger valve seat turning device is used to turn a groove into the valve seat ring. The seat ring is driven out of the cylinder head by means of a clamping head whose expandable clamping elements engage in the groove. Handling Insert the appropriate drift pin into the pneumatic hammer and insert the drift pin into the valve guide. Switch on the compressed air supply with the control lever provided on the pistol grip of the air hammer. The valve guide is driven out of or into the cylinder head by the rapid impact sequence. A soft protective ring placed on the drift pin protects the valve guide from damage.

Application The BDW is designed to reface the seating provided in the engine block for receiving the flange of the cylinder liner. Capacity Refacing diameter range 90-180mm Features Centering in the cylinder bore is automatically effected by simply turning the centering spindle. The studs at the engine block are used for rigidly clamping the BDW to the engine block. The seating is refaced to the preset depth by the simultaneous application of both a rotary and a transverse feed motion to the single point cutting tool. While the single point carbide cutting is rotated around the seating, a feed gear mechanism ensures a transverse feed motion. An adjustable depht stop makes sure that all seatings are cut to the same depth.

Application The Hunger RDS is designed to precision machine the seat ring bores in cylinder heads to produce smooth and closely fitting contact surfaces for oversize seat inserts. Features The RDS is equipped for counterboring as well as for facing the bottom of seat ring bores in a lathe-type action with a single point carbide cutter. The RDS is aligned in centerline with the valve guide by means of a pilot which is locked in the valve guide. An universal steady stabilizes the RDS against lateral displacement. Pilots and steady furnished with Hunger valve seat refacing tool also suit for the corresponding RDS tool. The built in feed gear mechanism for automatic longitudinal and cross feed of the single point cutter eliminates the need for multiple cutter sets and other accessories. An adjustable stop for the tool slide permits quick selection of the proper sized bore diameter.

Application The VD2 is designed to reface valve seats of the engines of trucks. heavy construction vehicles and small ships. Features The VD2 refaces the valve seat in a lathe-type facing action. The tool head includes two inclined slideways for refacing 30° and 45° valve seats. A single point turning tool is clamped to tool slide guided in the respective slideway. When the VD2 is rotated around the pilot by hand, the turning tool travels in a circle around the valve seat with continuous outward transverse feed motion under the correct seat angle. A steady rest which is mounted on the cylinder head stabilizes the VD2 below the crank handle. The steady rest eliminates runout when rotating the VD2 around the pilot. As a result, the seat is refaced to concentricity with the valve guide under the correct seat angle.

Application The VDS2 is designed to reface valve seats of the engines of trucks. heavy construction vehicles and small ships. Features The VDS2 refaces the valve seat in a lathe-type facing action. A gear head includes a feed mechanism for continous outward transverse motion of the single point turning tool when the VDS2 is rotated around a pilot inserted in the valve guide. The direction of the feed motion is defined by an exchangeable adapter head screwed to the gear head. A steady rest which is mounted on the cylinder head stabilizes the VDS2 below the crank handle. The steady rest eliminates runout when rotating the VDS2 around the pilot. As a result, the seat is refaced to concentricity with the valve guide under the correct seat angle.

Application The RCM is designed for refacing - the landing surface for the cylinder liner on the engine block, - the landing surface for the cylinder head on the cylinder liner - the landing surface for the cylinder liner on the cylinder head. Capacity Refacing diameter range 200 - 720mm Features The RCM is fitted with two motors providing a smooth cutting action. The speed of the motors is infinitely variable so that the cutting speed can be adapted to the diameter and material of the landing surface. A separate power supply unit is provided for ease of operation. A small hand-held remote control is supplied so that the operator can conveniently switch on and off the machine while watching the refacing operation. The remote control includes an emergency stop to stop the machine in case of emergency. The RCM is centered by a pilot tailored to the specific engine component to be serviced.

Application The VD4HD/-30° can be used for refacing the external conical landing face on valve cages. Capacity Max. refacing diameter 250mm Angle of transverse feed -30° Features Drive unit and gear head of the VD4HD/-30° are identical with the drive unit and gear head of the VD4E Valve Seat Refacing Machine. If a VD4HD is already on hand, only the D4/-30° adapter head is required for refacing the external conical landing face on valve cages. The D4/-30° adapter head is bolted to the gear head in place of the seat refacing adapter head. The pilot used for valve seat refacing can be also used for centering the VD4HD/-30°.

Application The SG 175 support grinder is designed for grinding the conical seating surface of valves of medium speed diesel engines on a standard lathe. Handling The support grinder is clamped in the toolpost located on the top slide of the lathe. The grinding angle corresponding to the required valve seat angle is adjusted by turning the top slide of the lathe to an angular position which corresponds to the valve seat angle and which is defined by the template supplied with the grinder. The valve stem is clamped in the chuck of the lathe and the valve face is ground by feeding the grinding wheel into the rotating valve face. Features The precision grinding spindle is permanetly sealed and lubricated for lifetime accuracy. The wheel guarding system is designed to the prevailing safety regulations. The cone-shaped head of the template is provided with a bore receiving the dressing diamond so that the grinding wheel can be properly dressed after adjustment of the grinding angle.

Selfcentering Steady (Option) Selfcentering steady rests are available to fit on the swivel plate slideway for additional support of long stem valves. Both the workhead and the stready rest are adjustable along the swivel plate to clamp each valve on that part of the valve stem which normally travels in the valve guide. The combination of collet chucking and the unique Hunger steadying provides double support of long valves to ensure the ultimate in valve refacing accuracy. Oscillating Equipment (Option) An oscillating equipment for automated power traverse of valve face across the grinding wheel is available to ensure efficient stock removal and superior finish. The stroke of oscillation is infinitely adjustable. Automated Infeed (Option) Power infeed is available for automatic grinding according to a preselected program. The feed rate, the total infeed and the sparkout time can be easily selected.
