Shipping containers are designed to carry heavy loads which can be stacked and can resist some of the harshest environments on the planet! They can withstand practically any extreme weather, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. Securely anchored the containers can take extremely windy conditions. You can rest easy that these units wont let you down and are great storm shelters. A project made from a shipping container is resilient to all kinds of elements including animals or pests and will last much longer than 100 years if treated and maintained correctly.
