Organic Andiroba Seed Oil is obtained from coldpressing of wild andiroba seeds selected and sustainably harvested deep within the all-natural Amazonian rainforest. No added additives or other chemicals products. From Amazonia to you, andiroba seed oil yields up to 60% unsaturated fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, stearic, and linoleic acids. From Amazonia to you, pequi oil is well-known for reviving dried, brittle chemically treated hairs (colored, straightened) into bright, healthy and with intense colored hair. It also helps to tame frizz and mend split ends. Pequi pulp oil has different fatty acids in its chemical composition, including oleic (50%) and palmitic (44%) as well as myristic, palmitoleic, stearic, linoleic and linolenic fatty acids in smaller amounts. The fatty acids contained in the oil are very similar to those shown in the epidermis, which makes pequi oil great for formulation of biomimetic products because of the high compatibility ratio between cosmetic products and the skin.
