APC ADVANCED POLYMER COMPOUNDS

The company APC Advanced Polymer Compounds specialises in the area of consultancy and the selection of plastic formulations ideally suited to your application. In close cooperation with you, we develop customer-specific thermoplastic material solutions which can subsequently also be manufactured in-house on our co-rotating twin-screw extruder. APC was founded in 2002 as a spin-off of the Department of Chemistry of Polymeric Materials at the University of Leoben. There is still close contact with the University of Leoben and other research institutes, like the Graz University of Technology, the Polymer Competence Center Leoben or the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Therefore, APC always has access to the latest technologies and is able to transform your innovations into ready-to-market products. APC is a particular expert in the field of the reactive modification (impact modification, fibre reinforcement) of technical thermoplastics like polyamides and polyester – the development and production of which is a core competence of the company.
