TRZ Analyzer is the key instrument for effective manufacturing, quality control and maintenance of power ultrasonic transducers, converters, boosters, horns and acoustic stacks.TRZ determines the resonance and antiresonance frequencies and impedances of the device under test. TRZ Analyzer includes the TRZ Software, which makes the tuning process easier, calculates the mechanical quality factor and determines the BVD equivalent circuit. The Software also applies acceptance criteria, generate test report, save and compare results.® TRZ Software allows the step-by-step monitoring of frequency and other parameters variation along the machining process, as well as a function of time and temperature.

SonicSniffer allows detection of operating frequency shifts that indicate potential failure and the need for preventive maintenance. Monitoring with SonicSniffer reduces functional failures and breakdowns, decreasing machine downtime and maintenance costs. The SonicSniffer measures the frequency based on the ultrasound emitted by the horn. Simply place it close to the horn on the production floor and read the result on the display screen (the equipment may be under a continuous or intermittent operating mode).

PiezoClamping is an innovation for direct measurement of prestress in piezoceramics. It is accurate and immune to the variations undermining traditional methods of control via torque and via charge measurement using a voltmeter. Simply connect the PiezoClamping, entry the ceramic parameters and tighten the transducer bolt until the desired prestress is achieved. The tightening can be applied slowly and with pauses without affecting the result. Unlike the tightening torque, prestress is a fixed value that does not depend on the dimensions and quantities of ceramics, type of bolt, thread finishing and lubrication.

Sonelastic HZ is based on the Impulse Excitation Technique for non-destructive characterization of Young's modulus, shear modulus, Poisson ratio and damping of materials. It also determines resonance frequencies of the sample or part under test. When submitted to a light mechanical impact, the sample emits a characteristic sound related to its dimensions, mass and elastic properties. The frequencies and decay rate of this sound allow the determination of the dynamic elastic moduli and damping.
ATCP Physical Engineering is specialized in test instruments based on frequency analysis for power ultrasonics and materials characterization.
