Nonwoven Spunbond Basal fabrics are produced with 100% polypropylene and first-class raw materials. Based on our principle of producing long-lasting quality products through healthy and eco-friendly production technologies, only 100% polypropylene material is used to reach stable and standard quality. Our company’s priority in Spunbond production is to reach product standards that comply with “Edana” standards and the “Oecotex” certificate. BASAL Spunbond production lines are equipped with SS, SSS, and SMMS technologies. Production in widths of 160 cm – 250 cm – 320 cm is available. Different width combinations can also be produced according to the demands and the needs of our customers. Thanks to our production lines with SSS production technology, BASAL can offer product advantages for sectors that require high homogeneity and durability features. Production weight ranges between 10 g/m2 to 160 g/m2. Our company offers production in approximately 25 standard colors.

Natural and synthetic fiber raw materials are used for production process in our company’s new and advanced technology production lines. BASAL’s priority in Spunlace nonwoven fabric production is to always maintain the most hygienic conditions. Two different spunlace technology is available : Parallel-lapped line and Cross-lapped line. Our Spunlace product weight ranges for parallel technology is between 25 gr/m²-150 gr/m² and up to 320 cm width and for cross-laped technology is between 45 gr/m²-200 gr/m² and up to 320 cm width Customised production in different color and width combinations with different properties such as particle-free feature, liquid repellency, liquid absorbency, softness, hardness, flexibility, etc is available to meet customer needs. Ultrasonic Quilting is a production method made by Spunbond or by combining different fabrics alone or by ultrasonic processing in 2-3 layers. Quilted products are especially used in furniture and bed production as well as saddle bags in home textile. 14 different patterns and 4 different groups are available in BASAL’s ultrasonic quilting production lines. Flexo Printing Technique can be applied on our products, in line with customer request. The technique can easily be applied onto many different materials. In Felxo Printing Techniques, the pattern is engraved on the cliche as bulges, and these bulges transfer the ink on to the material to be printed. Flexo Printing can be applies on Spunbond, PEVA Film, Laminated Products and Needlepunch Felt (minimum weight 30 g). Fabrics with a maximum width of 160 cm can be printed in our Flexo Printing lines, with a maximum of 4 color options. Company name, logo, or a different design can also be added to the fabric upon request. The biggest advantage of the Flexo printing technique is its low-cost compared to the other printing techniques. Areas of Used: Bag Promotion and Packaging Furniture

Digital printing technique can be applied on the materials resistant to 220ºC heat and above. Diaper backsheet, quilted bedspread, children’s play tent, tablecloths, baby bibs, slippers, kitchen aprons, children’s play mats can be produced from our digitally printed nonwoven materials.

BASAL’s Polyethylene & Peva film products, which are produced with the “Cast” film technique, offer high strength, liquid tightness, and airtightness even at low weights thanks to the special recipes and the techniques we use during production. PE & PEVA film products are used as film and lamination material in many different sectors. In our company, production is carried out under hygienic conditions and in standard quality. PE & PEVA film products can be producted up to 220 cm width in accordance with sectoral demands. (Different combinations between 150 cm to 220 cm are also available) There are various color options available. On demand, thickness advantage can be achieved by giving the product “Embos” feature during production. Areas of Used: Medical: PE & PEVA film products are usually used as tablecloth for surgical instrument tables. The films can also be laminated with absorbent fabric to provide liquid-proof feature.

Fabrics, films, are used in lamination have different properties according to the intended use of the product. The method of melting plastic raw materials under pressure and temperature and then letting them flow onto the surface of the material to be coated is called Coating-Plastering. Unlike hotmelt lamination, glue is not used in the Coating- Plastering technique. Fabrics and films used in Coating-Plastering may have different properties according to the product’s intended use. Coating-Plastering is performed to increase the product’s technical performance, diversify its functions, add it an aesthetic look, and provide other additional features such as liquid and airtightness, toughness, endurance, etc. Areas of Use Medical: It is used in products such as tablecloths, surgery covers, and gowns.. Hotmelt Lamination is the method of bonding two different materials such as Film, Spunbond, Spunlace, Metalize, Towel, etc. with hot glue. Fabrics, films, and glues used in Hotmelt Lamination can be in different features according to the intended use of the product. Hotmelt lamination is performed to increase the product’s technical performance, diversify its functions, add an aesthetic look, and provide other additional features such as liquid and airtightness, toughness, endurance, etc. Areas of Use Medical: Hotmelt lamination technique is used in production of products such as tablecloths, surgery covers, gowns, for companies that manufacture medical sets. Promotion: It is used in products such as bags or dress covers. BASAL Isocover Under Tile Covers add liquid impermeability to tile-covered roofs thanks to its special formula developed against water leaks that frequently occur on tile-covered slopping roofs in the times of heavy rain and snow accumulation. Isocover can be laid under the tiles on roofs. It provides heat and water insulation. It also has sound-absorbing properties.
