DataMan 8072DL handheld barcode readers are optimized with powerful algorithms and technologies to read DPM, as well as 1D and 2D label-based barcodes, in the most demanding industrial environments. 2DMax® with PowerGrid® technology is a breakthrough 2D decoding algorithm, designed to read 2D codes with significant damage.

DataMan® 8050 series readers are equipped with Cognex’s world-class barcode reading algorithms and designed to withstand harsh factory floor conditions. The best in class algorithms decode even challenging barcodes quickly and easily including Direct Part Mark (DPM) codes. And, the flexible modular design ensures the DataMan 8050 series readers are ready to meet ever changing communication needs. The DataMan 8050 series of industrial barcode readers feature field interchangeable communication modules and enable one reader to be configured to meet specific communication needs to support corded RS-232, USB, and Ethernet options, as well as cordless options including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

DataMan® 70 is a compact fixed-mount barcode reader providing the highest read rates for 1D and 2D label-based codes. With advanced image formation and a small footprint, DataMan 70 is the ideal solution for indexed or high-speed manufacturing and logistics applications. DataMan 70 is equipped with high-performing 1DMax® with Hotbars® and IDQuick® that reliably read labelbased 1D and 2D barcodes with variations in contrast, blur, damage, resolution, quiet zone violations, and perspective distortion. DataMan 70 is small enough to fit in the tightest spaces, and with IP65 rated housing, it can also handle the harshest environments. An optional communication module provides the flexibility to daisychain multiple readers, making cabling fast and easy.

The DataMan® 8072 Extended Range (ER) handheld barcode reader is designed for logistics and warehousing applications, reliably reading 1D and 2D label-based barcodes from up to 8 meters away. It features the latest patented algorithms, liquid lens technology, and high-powered LED lighting and laser aimer for efficient long-range scanning. The DataMan 8072ER deciphers codes from up to 8 meters (26 feet) away, making it ideal for scanning pallet labels on high shelves or slips hanging from a warehouse ceiling. This barcode reader has a 1.2-megapixel sensor to improve resolution and image formation.

For 1D linear barcodes, higher-density 2D matrix codes, or direct part mark (DPM) codes, the DataMan 150/260 series fixed-mount, image-based barcode readers deliver unprecedented performance, flexibility and ease-of-use. DataMan 150/260 series fixed-mount barcode readers achieve the highest possible read rates thanks to a high-speed, dual core processing engine that runs the latest Cognex algorithms. 1DMax with Hotbars and 2DMax with PowerGrid technology decode damaged or poorly printed 1D and 2D codes, despite code quality, printing method or surface that the codes are marked on, and can even read 2-D codes without visible perimeters or quiet zones. DataMan 150/260 series models offer straight or right-angled configurations to fit into the tightest spaces.

The MX-1502 vision-enabled mobile terminal reads codes from as near as 15–30 cm to as far as 10 meters away, making it ideal for scanning barcodes on floor labels, rack labels on high shelves and slips hanging from warehouse ceilings. The MX-1502 is equipped with modular lighting and optics technology (including polarized LEDs and a high-powered lens with liquid lens technology) which provides optimal image formation of any code - even the most challenging direct part mark (DPM) codes. The industrial-grade, rugged housing can handle up to 50 drops from 2 meters onto concrete. It is IP65 sealed and uses inductive wireless charging so there are no exposed electrical contacts to wear out or fail.

The MX-1000 is ideal for reading 1-D/2-D or DPM codes on automotive parts and label-based barcodes on packages and equipment. The flexible design accepts a variety of both current and future generation mobile devices and augments their capability in a fully ruggedized housing tough enough to stand up to the most challenging environments.
