Helapet Limited, Bedfordshire based manufacturer and distributor of high quality medical and cleanroom consumables are delighted to be recently awarded the coveted Investors in People 'We invest in people, gold accreditation'. Gold accreditation means that not only have Helapet Ltd put excellent policies in place, but more importantly, it means everyone - throughout the organisation - takes ownership for making them come to life. This award is a hard-won achievement - only 17% of Investors in People accredited organisations achieve Gold and Helapet have been able to reach this level only 3 years after achieving the Silver accreditation from Investors in People. Helapet prides itself on its excellent customer service, its dedicated staff and most recently its recent role in supporting the NHS in tackling the Covid 19 pandemic. Investors in People have noted that this pride is palpable within every individual.

Helapet is delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded Silver Investors in People accreditation. An international recognised standard that supports high business performance through the investment, management and support of its people, we are proud to dedicate this achievement to our amazing team and the terrific progress all have made in key areas of the Helapet business. To achieve Silver standard Helapet needed to meet all set indicators at the Developed level and at least seven indicators at the Established level. Following the two day assessment, Helapet showed it was meeting all indicators at the required standard, with five at the Established level, two at the Advanced level and two indicators at the Developed level. By definition, the vast majority of company processes were seen to be "engaging, activating and creating positive outcomes".

The Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) is calling for poster abstract submissions for the 2019 Katherine Miles Poster Award, proudly sponsored by Helapet Ltd. APTUK provides continued support in the training and development of Pharmacy and Healthcare practitioners. The Katherine Miles poster competition helps support creative thinking; using posters to illustrate the latest research and generate new and valuable ideas. This award recognises the diverse practice of pharmacy technicians by sharing best practice, innovation, research, education and development. It is also a great platform for pharmacy technicians to showcase projects and achievements, as well as celebrating their innovative roles in contributing to excellent patient centred care.
