These special hollow glass beads are made of a borosilicate glass. Their dimensions are very small and move in the lower millimeter range. The ends can be done open as well as closed.

Whether as electrical isolator or sensor-feed-through, our thin glass plates with defined edge- and inner hole-processing are suited ideally. The reason for this are the specific glass-characteristics. The high electrical insulation value or the high transparency of glass make use of its advantages. Always customized on your application!

This compact micro torch is ideally suited for melting the ends of sample tubes precisely and safely. As a very small flame can be adjusted, it is possible to melt the capillary precisely at a defined point without excessively heating the remaining capillary, as is the case with standard torches. The torch is operated with a hydrogen/oxygen or a propane/oxygen mixture, both of which provide a very hot flame that even permits quartz glass to be processed. This torch is an extremely versatile tool with which practically all types of glass can be processed – from simple flaming to highly complex tasks. To cut capillary tubes, special blades are required, which are made of a material that is harder than glass. Normally, blades with an extremely hard diamond edge are used. However, zirconium oxide blades are a less expensive and convenient alternative. They are also very hard, and can be sharpened easily at any time by simple regrinding. These blades are excellently suited for cutting glass capillaries, as the flat blade can be drawn accurately across the glass surface. Moreover, the capillaries can be parted cleanly at the incision point. This method can even be used on extremely fine test tubes with wall thicknesses of only 0,01 mm. For convenient and secure use in one hand, the blades can be clamped into our aluminium blade holders. Therefore, we recommend requesting the blade holder as well. Glass cutting-tools

In addition to our glass needles, we supply matching small-volume standard Luer syringes for optimum handling of the needles. Thanks to the small volume of the syringe, the piston stroke can be controlled with high precision to ensure an optimum dosing result. Precise dosing is further supported by the piston's smooth movement. Conventional syringes have a volume of about 1 ml. in our one-way syringe, the volume has been halved to 0,5 ml. 0,5 ml syringes with low sliding force with silicon seal

Our new NMR septum caps for standard 5 mm NMR tubes are made of EVA and have a special sealing septum inside the cap. This septum ensures significantly better sealing than standard NMR caps, for example with regard to chloroform or other solvents. A special evaporation test conducted by Bruker Biospin confirmed the extraordinary tightness of the caps.
