HUNIC sees itself as a service provider committed to implementing lasting improvements in health, motivation and safety in everyday work. With its passive SoftExo exoskeleton, HUNIC supports and reduces strain for people with physically demanding jobs. The body-worn system is an ergonomic tool for lifting and carrying that is designed specifically for professional use at the workplace. When lifting and carrying loads, staff are supported by up to 21%, the load on them is reduced by up to 50% and an ergonomically correct posture is promoted. Tech startup HUNIC was founded by Jonas Mast in 2017 in Baiersbronn. Since then, he has been continuously developing the SoftExo system together with his team of physiotherapists, sports scientists and designers. This has resulted in a number of versions of the SoftExo to meet different requirements.
