As one of NEDEX Group companies, Nedex Kimya, has a large product variety of insulated glass spacers (as Aluminium Spacer Bars and Plastic Warm Edge Spacers)). Insulated glass spacer bars are designed depending on the demands of glass manufacturers. Nedex has capacity of more than 100 million meters of aluminium spacers and 60 million meters of plastic warm edge spacers yearly at the production facility in Eskişehir/Turkey. NEDEX has been producing aluminium spacer bars in Eskisehir/Turkey since 2010. A group company of NEDEX, ISOPROFIL has been producing aluminum spacers in Zaporozhye/Ukraine since 2011. Warm edge spacer production started in the year of 2014. NEDEX is also producing corner keys for its spacer bars and recommend the use of them together. Aluminium spacers are the first types of spacers manufactured by NEDEX. In order to meet the requirements of various markets, aluminium spacers are produced in many dimensions for insulating glass. Aluminium spacers are made for cut & plug applications, with plastic corner connectors and for machine bending with metallic straight connectors. The thickness of the aluminium materials varies from 0,18 mm for lower thermal conductivity and cost efficiency to 0,35 mm for bendability and strength.There are different sizes of aluminium spacers with a nominal width of 6 mm and 24 mm. The standard lengths of the aluminium spacers are 3 m, 5 m and 6 m. Other lengths are optional on request. Name, date and imprint are available. NEDEX warm edge spacers (NANOBAR) have lowest Σλd- and Ψ-values. NANOBAR has maximum number of perforation holes for a better IGU performance. Nedex warm edge spacers can be produced in widths between 8-24 mm. The extruded part of spacer which gives the shape of spacer is produced by UV resistant plastic compounds with three different rigidity factors named by Nanobar, Nanobar-F and Nanobar-R. The colour of plastic part can be white, grey RAL7035, grey RAL7040, grey RAL9023 and black. Their stability and material specifications make their processing in bending lines possible. They can even be installed in IG units, which are under extreme external loads. Metallic and nonmetallic coatings at the backside of warm edge spacers guarantee perfect tightness against water vapour and argon permeation. NEDEX produces polysulfide based sealants named KU-83, PS-018, PS-002 and ARCOL. NEDEX polysulfide sealant is produced to be used in insulated glasses.It has very low permeability water and gas. It has very advanced chemical properties. Polysulfide sealants are recommended to be mixed with a volumetric ratio of 10:1 for A and B components. NEDEX polysulfide based outer sealants KU-83 and PS-018 are for Insulating Glass Units with specifications according to EN 1279:2018.

NEDEX insulating glass secondary sealant KU-83 is a 2-component, solvent-free adhesive/sealant with SH-bonding ends (polysulfite). The rheological properties of the product make it suitable for manual and robot processing. KU-83 adheres to glass, aluminium, galvanized steel and stainless steel without the use of primer. For other products, such as coated glass, glass from which the coating has been removed, treated spacer profiles or profiles made of other materials; relevant trials must be carried out to ensure the product's suitability. The use with polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is not recommended. It is produced only for insulated glass manufacturing.
