The CSN® tubular heating elements are of versatile application and have a long life span, if appropriately used. The tubular heating elements serve for the calefaction of gases, liquids and solid matters. The configuration of the elements is jointly decisive for the effectiveness. CSN ® tubular heating elements are available as round heating elements in diameters of 6.5 / 8.5 / 11.5 and 16 mm. These elements provide different materials, countless shapes and lengths up to 7 m, the optimal solution for your application. CSN® screwin heating units are particularly suitable for the direct heating of liquids, air and gases. In relation to the process, we provide you with screwin or tank heating units with tubular heating elements made of stainless steel which we adjust to the respective application situation and the medium to be heated in consultation with you. The surface loadings, a very critical design feature for the longterm durability of the elements, are calculated for their specific application. For exact temperature monitoring, the screwin heating units can be manufactured with various controllers and / or limiters, as well as PT100 sensors or sheath thermocouples. Our team also looks forward to standing by your side if you need heating solutions which cannot be covered with socalled standard solutions. CSN®cartridge type heating elements and bath heaters are eminently suitable for direct heating and warming of liquids of all kinds. Corresponding to the nature of the different media protective coverings of steel, various special steel types or porcelain can be selected. The electric heating inserts of CSN®cartridge type heating elements may be installed or dismounted without the necessity of draining the liquids from the container. The CSN®cartridge type heating elements and bath heaters are manufactured for nominal voltages from 110 up to 690 volts D.C. and A.C. In the case of higher heating capacities 3 or more elements each, being individually divisible by the factor 3 can be star or delta connected to 230 and 400 volts A.C. threephase mains. At 12 kW and a related length the elements are fabricated for 400 volts A.C. threephase delta connections. In any case the desired voltage and type of current has to be stated.

CSN® explosionproof flow heaters are used for heating up flowing gases and liquids in hazardous areas. The devices consist of explosionproof flanged immersion heaters, which are installed in corresponding pipe or pressure vessel. Our products realize individual solutions for complicated technical process. Different heating systems for heating up liquids, nitrogen or other gases activate exact determinded processes in chemical factories. CSN® Explosionproof screw plug or flanged immersion heaters ( Ex ) are perfectly suited for direct heating of liquids or gas / air mixtures in hazardous areas. The devices are available with attached or integrated temperature monitoring systems. For these heaters various high quality stainless steel grades are available. The electical immersion heater type 94./..EEs….T.(.) is designed for the heating of liquids and quit gasair mixtures in the zone 1 and zone 2. The standars elements, mentioned in this list are suitable for DGRL (code 97/23/EG) Art. 3 Para. 3. The elements can be suited (on request) to other uses requiring another classification according to DGRL.

CSN ® Explosion proof cartridge heaters as direct heaters for liquids or gases in hazardous environment. These units are equipped with a heating bundle or a replaceable ceramic heating element. For temperature control these heaters are available with an integrated temperature monitoring system. These devices are available in various material grades. The electric cartridge heating element type 93./..EEx….T.(.) is designed for the heating of liquids in the zone 1 and zone 2. CSN® tank heating units are particularly suitable for the direct heating of liquids (Oil, Water, Emulsions), air and gases. They contribute to the avoidance of paraffin clouds in fuel oil or Diesel storage tanks. In relation to the process, we provide you with tank heating units with tubular heating elements made of stainless steel which we adjust to the respective application situation and the medium to be heated in consultation with you. We offer our series “THF” a suspended, on a chain flexible solution to keep heating oil or diesel fuel in the extraction line pumpable. CSN® PreHeater consists of one or more CSN® Flow Heaters, which are equipped with a valve and a pump, as well as standalone controller.Combustion engines requiring immediate operational readiness must be preheated before starting. The wellknown cold start problems are eliminated and the engine can be operated at full load from the beginning. Furthermore, cold start wear is considerably reduced. Typical fields of application for this type of preheater units are e.g. emergency power units (Diesel engine + generator) or locomotives and ships (Diesel engine for propulsion).Combustion engines requiring immediate operational readiness must be preheated before starting.
