Reliable, accurate and offering superior senstivity, repeatability and speed of response. The SDT-Ex is suitable for continuous measurement of trace moisture in industrial process gases. This 3 wire, 4-20 mA, loop powered dewpoint transmitter utilises the ultra high capacitance SHAW moisture sensing technology and is certified intrinsically safe to ATEX and IECEx standards. Suitable for use in hazardous areas using a signal isolator and ideal for hydrocarbon, petrochemical and hydrogen applications. The SHAW SDT-Ex incorporates the unique AutoCal function designed by SHAW, allowing users to ensure accuracy between laboratory calibrations. Fully self-contained within a robust housing, the stainless steel construction provides weatherproof protection to IP66 (NEMA 4X). The output is configurable in 5 different units and various dewpoint ranges are available covering an overall range from -100 °C to +20 °C (-148 °F to +68 °F) dewpoint with an accuracy of ±2 °C (±3.6 °F) dewpoint.
