Solid Food is a company that produces quinoa in Ayacucho, Peru, transports it in a climate-neutral way to Antwerp, Belgium, and from there distributes it to the food industry, retailers, food service and wholesale. Ayacucho is a region in Peru that is known for its top quality quinoa. Our product range includes white, red, black and tricolor quinoa as a dry grain but also a variety of other quinoa products such as quinoa flakes, quinoa flour, puffed quinoa, quinoa ready-to-eat mixes, quinoa dry mixes, or precooked quinoa. Our customers appreciate our quinoa because it has a sweet taste (e.g. thanks to the low saponin content), gives a high yield in their production process (e.g. thanks to the little dust that is generated), because of its traceability and link to local Peruvian social projects.
