Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH and the Spanish technology group GPAINNOVA are expanding their partnership: After Rösler has been the exclusive distributor of GPAINNOVA's DLyte Industrial Series for the German market for some time now, the world market leader Rösler will also take over the worldwide distribution of GPAINNOVA's Carbide Cutting Tools Series as well as the individual process development and service of the machines. In addition, GPAINNOVA is working closely with Rösler on the further development of the DLyte Carbide Series and the underlying DryLyte process. The carbide machines use the patented DryLyte technology for surface finishing cemented carbides and are intended to replace drag finishing as the standard process for carbide cutting tool finishing, resulting in even more efficient and better tools. By expanding its partnership with GPAINNOVA, Rösler is making further inroads into the tool making industry, one of the company's new focus markets.

This organization has been recognized as the 12th fastest-growing organization in this field and stands as the foremost company in Spain, according to the FT 1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2024. This annual ranking, compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with the German data provider Statista, identifies the European companies with the strongest revenue growth between 2019 and 2022. To be featured on the list, companies needed a minimum average growth rate of 36.3 percent. GPAINNOVA not only surpasses this benchmark but excels with a 57.5 percent surge in revenue, achieving an absolute growth rate of 209.6 percent and obtaining the 567th placement in Europe. GPAINNOVA (GPA Tech, S.L.) once again set a new annual turnover record in 2023, reaching €35 million. In terms of EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest Taxes Depreciation and Amortization), it consolidated results within the DryLyte Group, totaling €7 million. This marks the seventh consecutive year of record-breaking performance, with a €9 million increase from 2022 (+34.6 percent). The 2023 figure is 58 times higher than 2016 (€600,000). DLyte Chemicals, part of the DryLyte Group, generated €4.3 million in revenues and €1.8 million in EBITDA in 2023. Pau Sarsanedas, CEO and co-founder, highlights these figures “as a testament to the group's core business success and the maturity of their project”. In 2023, GPAINNOVA expanded its presence in the industrial sector and international markets, securing machinery sales in 40+ countries on five continents. Foreign trade constituted 96 percent of total turnover, especially in key markets like Germany, Brazil, the USA, and Asia.

GPAINNOVA raised €3.7 million from the Next Generation fund. Specifically, the business group will allocate the funds to new projects focused on artificial intelligence (AI), industrial digitalisation and the development of sustainable technology with industrial impact. The technological platform GPAINNOVA celebrated its 10th anniversary last Monday with a special event on innovation in the industry. This technical seminar, which took place at its headquarters in Barcelona, brought together around 150 companies and professionals. The event counted on the presence of Lluís Juncà, Director General for Innovation, Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship at Government of Catalonia. Concerning GPAINNOVA, Juncà highlighted its “innovative character”, its size, assuring that there are few companies that achieve it, and the fact of “keeping sustainability in mind”.
