  1. GRAFITBERGBAU - KAISERSBERG GES.M.B.H.

    Austria

Various archive records show that graphite has been mined at Kaysersberg, France, since 1755. Since then, the privately owned Grafitbergbau has developed into a company which operates on the global market and is known for its excellent customer service as well as its solution-oriented approach. Since the 1990s, traditional mining practices have been modified and new areas of mining applications have been explored in addition to traditional raw material mining. Collaboration with international research facilities, universities and customers has resulted in new types of high-quality graphite, besides the common type, as well as other niche products for the national and international market. The Grafitbergbaus Kaisersberg company premises is not far from the St. Michael junction and is directly connected to the Styrian railway network. From here, the graphite is delivered across the world in sacks, Big Bags or as complete containers, depending on customer demand, via rail or road.
