Bijin was born from a career in the cosmetics industry, a conscious move towards a healthier and more environmentally-friendly way of life, and 11 years spent in Japan and in Asia. During this time, I was deeply immersed in the Japanese beauty culture, exploring products, ingredients, rituals and technology (J-Beauty) which combine tradition and modernity. It was therefore a natural decision to launch Bijin and Takesumi (bamboo charcoal) at the end of 2018; my branded care products are all organic, and directly inspired by Japanese traditions. My goal is to share new beauty regimes and rituals to be integrated into our routine, using healthy, natural products created as foods to nourish our skin. At the end of 2019, we expanded our range of activated charcoal and plant-based products and are proud to be first to offer charcoal manufactured completely in France. Bijin encompasses three brands: FRENCH ACTIVATED CHARCOAL: We are pioneers in the production of 100% French plant-based charcoal! BIJIN: "Gourmet" skincare with superfood ingredients inspired by traditional Japanese beauty rituals. TAKESUMI: Import of activated plant-based charcoal from Japan, such as takesumi (carbonised bamboo) and Binchotan. All our products are 100% natural, and produced organically using a zero waste approach. We offer the largest range of charcoals in Europe.

Embargo Design est un studio de design concevant du mobilier, des articles d'arts de la table et des objets de décoration pour de très petites quantités et en travaillant avec des artisans reconnus pour leur savoir faire en France. Les objets design proposés par Embargo Design sont en vente dans certaines boutiques à Paris et l'ensemble du catalogue est consultable sur le site d'Embargo Design. Le catalogue se décompose en trois grandes thématiques : - Le mobilier design. On y retrouve par exemple des tabourets, des porte manteaux, des canapés, des chaises, des tables... - Les arts de la table. Ces objets sont réalisés par des artisans faisant preuve d'une très forte technicité leur permettant de réaliser des objets originaux. Dans le catalogue on retrouve ainsi des verres uniques, une carafe à dégustation de vin à 15 trous, des tasses, des poivrières - salières, etc. - Les objets décoration. Ces objets font réflechir sur notre société et notre quotidien et tirent leur inspiration notamment des années 70, du design suédois et italien.
