Driesen + Kern was founded by Mr. Hans-Hermann Driesen and Mr. Helmut Kern in 1977, as a sales company for physical measuring equipment. As per customer wishes, the company increasingly moved towards developing, manufacturing and selling its own systems. Investments were made in new technologies designed to miniaturise measuring and memory systems and in an industrial building in Bad Bramstedt. In 1996, Driesen + Kern introduced a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. Trained engineers and service technicians ensure that the customer is fully informed and advised. Quality and reliability are key when it comes to measuring equipment constructed in these miniaturised, compact designs. Therefore, no system leaves our company without having been fully inspected.
