In 2002, German company Unionmatex ordered the production of cotton pulp with a capacity of 30, 000 tonnes per year, which cost, according to the company, around $50 million. In 2012, Fargona Kimyo Zavodi LLC was founded on the basis of the Fergana Furan Compounds Plant. The company is one of the largest producers of cotton pulp in Uzbekistan. Our products are used as raw materials in many manufacturing companies. Today, 80% of our products are exported, to Bulgaria, China, Germany, Serbia, Russia and other CIS countries.
