The roots of the Allgäuer Ölmühle (Allgäu oil mill) lie in the heart of the Allgäu region in southern Germany. This where people go for health treatments and on holiday "just because it's good for you" thanks to the therapeutic effects of being in nature and healthy food to eat. The company was founded in 2004 and is located in the beautiful Ostallgäu district to the east, only a few minutes' drive from the motorway exit for Rückholz/Nesselwang (A7/138). Cold-pressed vegetable oils are the most valuable components and sources of energy for a healthy and balanced diet. We place great importance on using the best raw products and we process organically produced oilseeds and nuts, from local sources where possible. In addition, we can press and individually bottle special ingredients at your request. If you would like to drop in, please give us a quick call beforehand. We do not have any fixed opening hours because someone is usually available at our organic farm. We moved our production site to Kempten in central Allgäu a few years ago.

We have decided not to use any additives, even fragrances are only used very discreetly in order to ensure the best possible skin compatibility. Our soaps are made gently at low temperatures. In contrast to curd soaps, the glycerin produced during the reaction is not removed but stirred in. Glycerin is a by-product of the saponification reaction of sodium hydroxide with the corresponding oils. It ensures a gentler feeling when washing hands and sufficient care. Here we have compiled all the essential information about the ingredients and the different types of soap. There you can also learn about the saponification reaction and browse more content. We store our natural soaps for about 5-6 weeks after production. The soap needs this time to mature and harden. This time is important because otherwise the natural soap would be too soft and would be used up quickly. Our soaps are free of plastic and mineral oils and are lovingly packed in recycled material. Shipping is done with biodegradable packaging material. We pay a lot of attention to reusable materials and tools during production. The production takes place exclusively in small batches in careful manual work and only pure vegetable oils and fats are used!

We are specialize in the cold pressing of various organic hard seeds such as Pomegranate seeds, passion fruit seeds, rose hip seeds, elderberry seeds and much more. We use the most modern production technology to process your raw materials as gently as possible. How does this work? You provide us with the organic raw materials and we take care of the rest. From the test pressing for your laboratory sample to several truck loads. With our powerful presses, we can also process large quantities gently. After the pressing process, the oil is filtered and filled into cans or cubitainers as required. The press cake is packed in BigBags ready for dispatch. Your benefit: You control the quality of the seed or oil in the purchasing process and also sell the press cake for better added value. Your oils are always freshly pressed. And then? You get the finished products back and sell the oil and press cakes or process them further. After each pressing, we evaluate the yields and document this on a production log.
