Since being founded, the owner-managed company was a partner to the automotive industry before the strategy was changed in 2018 and the decision was made to concentrate on customers from other branches of industry. Right from the very beginning, the delivery range comprised most of the same products as it does today, including grey cast iron piston rings, PTFE structural parts and plastic sieves. Elastomer moulded parts followed at the end of the 1980s. Nowadays, the products we focus on are sieves, screens and filter elements made from plastic using the injection moulding method. Either plastic or wire mesh is placed in the die and overmoulded with plastic. Seals and ready-made seal sets for the automotive spare parts market complete the range. Dornburger Kunststoff-Technik GmbH was founded in October 1990. The company is based in the town of Dornburg-Camburg in Thuringia, Germany. We currently use injection moulding machines with a clamping force range of 400–8000 kN for our production processes.
