The great-nephew of the inventor of cut-off systems and great-grandson of the company founder – Steffen Niethammer – decided to continue production of cut-off systems following the insolvency of Gebr. Hezel. He integrated the production and sale of cut-off systems into his father's company, STACO Werkzeugmaschinen. STACO Werkzeugmaschinen, previously based in Oberndorf am Neckar, focuses on the free trade of tensioning systems and machine tools. STACO was founded in 1991 by Günter Niethammer, and is a household name among experts and, above all, in its region. The new registered office of STACO Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH has been located in the Oberndorf district of Bochingen since 1st January 2017. The development, production and sale of cut-off systems is further expanded and advanced here by a small team.
