Since being founded, the owner-managed company was a partner to the automotive industry before the strategy was changed in 2018 and the decision was made to concentrate on customers from other branches of industry. Right from the very beginning, the delivery range comprised most of the same products as it does today, including grey cast iron piston rings, PTFE structural parts and plastic sieves. Elastomer moulded parts followed at the end of the 1980s. Nowadays, the products we focus on are sieves, screens and filter elements made from plastic using the injection moulding method. Either plastic or wire mesh is placed in the die and overmoulded with plastic. Seals and ready-made seal sets for the automotive spare parts market complete the range. Our objective is to provide customers with the best service and create added value through the very highest quality of customer support. The loyalty of our customers is the consequence and result of our quality.

As an owner-managed family business, we launched out company, Filtrum GmbH, in Hemer in 2004. Today, we deliver our plastic injection-moulded parts, stamped parts and moulded parts as well as our filters & dirt trap applications throughout Europe. Our customers operate in the fields of service water, heating technology and electrical engineering among others, and we have provided them with reliable support for a number of years. Extending our portfolio, we also provide products in the field of longitudinal/roll seam welding. This allows us to offer our customers larger filters with a diameter of up to approx. 200 mm and a length of up to approx. 750 mm. What has driven us forward since 2004? Turning our customers’ ideas into reality: all articles are custom-made products that we manufacture in accordance with your drawings and specifications. The following types of material are currently used: Plastic injection moulding: POM, certified for drinking water, PP, PE, PU, ABS. Stamped & moulded parts: brass, stainless steel. Filter inserts & dirt trap applications: 1.4301 + 1.4401 in wire thicknesses from 0.0125 mm to 4 mm and mesh sizes from 20 µm to 4000 µm
