We supply Organic Honey and Organic Tea in mass tonnage. We have partnered with Rural farming Organizations and communities to ensure that these communities and their families can receive better prices, scientific input on their agricultural farming methods and a fairer deal on their harvests. We started 10 years ago to help locals with a better income instead of cutting down trees and instead of cattle farming we found the lush dense tropical region very suitable for honey farming. Our Philosophy: Instead of giving a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and he could provide for himself for a lifetime By doing so we believe that we invest in their future and their children’s future and help farming organizations increase their profit margins. We are now the biggest honey producer in Africa with 800 tons of pure raw organic honey from Zambia and we have 600 tons of organic rooibos tea from South Africa. Our honey and tea are tested by international food science laboratories in Europe and certified Organic. We have the rainforest certification for our Tea and the all the relevant certification required. Our Honey has won international awards and currently being tested for medicinal value. we have 350 tons of honey available right now as well as 160 tons of Organic Rooibos Tea.

We supply both organic and conventional honeybush in bulk (50 tonnes per year), We also own two final labelled tea brands – Mandela Tea and Southern Cape Tea – our tea is 100% South African & 100% organic (certified EOS & NOP with Ecocert) Honeybush is indigenous to the Southern Cape of South Africa and is part of the fynbos biome. Naturally sweet, honey-like taste, low in tannins, rich in antioxidants and free of caffeine - honeybush is perfect for all ages with no reported side effects since its first recorded use in 1705. Cape Tea Co’s honeybush is free from pesticides, chemical fertilisers, additives, preservatives, other agrochemicals and is certified organic by Ecocert. Mandela Teas contain teas that are indigenous to South Africa: the much-loved honeybush, rooibos, and buchu. Mandela Teas also contain an abundance of minerals essential to good health and well-being. Ranging from iron, potassium and calcium to magnesium and manganese, these minerals help prevent anaemia, correct fluid balance abnormalities, and encourage healthy bones. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Mandela Day School Library Project - an initiative of the Nelson Mandela Foundation. It works with under-resourced schools to establish and maintain container libraries in order to boost literacy, and has delivered more than 100 such libraries since 2011.
