With a force of 15,000 N and the tried-and-tested brushless motor, the FireBird® Pro CAS is powerful and fast when setting blind rivet nuts of up to M8 steel. Since no wear-prone brushes are used, the motor has an extremely long service life, is virtually non-wearing and reliably guarantees the fastest setting frequencies. The setting tool is controlled solely by the setting force adjustment. The thread of the blind rivet nut is therefore optimally protected while ensuring the blind rivet nut is securely anchored in the material. With the 18-volt battery power supply, the tool is suitable for flexible, cordless use on construction sites and in industrial manufacturing. The mechanism for triggering the riveting process is functionally separated from the drilling process and, once the riveting process is complete, the FireBird® Pro CAS provides an automatic drilling function. The FireBird® Pro S Gold Edition with mechanical setting stroke adjustment. When setting a blind rivet nut size of the same length in consistent material thicknesses constant setting stroke should be used. The setting stroke corresponds to the distance the mandrel is drawn into the nose piece during the setting process and thus how far the blind rivet nut is upset. With the setting stroke adjustment this path can be set mechanically on the setting tool. GESIPA® blind rivets – For every application Blind rivets are available in a variety of designs, materials, forms, lengths and even colours. Depending on the task which the blind rivet should fulfi l, GESIPA® can choose between a standard model available from stock or a blind rivet specially designed for the application.

Hammer stroke or drive rivets are set by driving the mandrel into the rivet body (e.g. by means of a hammer). This causes the lower end of the rivet body to expand and allows riveting components with openend boreholes and also riveting of blind-end boreholes.This riveting technology is suitable for the most diverse material combinations. For blind-end boreholes, a trial is necessary in order to establish the optimum rivet length based on the component characteristics and the firmness requirements.

A wide grip range: A single PolyGrip® blind rivet can replace to up to fi ve different dimensions of DIN standard blind rivets. • Outstanding hole fi lling capability: The rivet body expands radially during the setting process and compensates hole tolerances, centering deviations and differences in diameter, thus always building up a playfree and tight joint. • Safe rest mandrel locking: PolyGrip® blind rivets neither generate rattling noises due to free moving rest mandrels nor do they allow the risk of loss of the rest mandrel. • Splash waterproof are the PolyGrip® blind rivets under certain conditions too. The classic model. The designation ALFO® stands for the product range of HONSEL open standard blind rivets that are available with dome, countersunk or large dome head. It covers the versions and special types described in DIN EN ISO 15977 to 15984 as well as 16582 and 16584. “Special types” by our definition are rivets with a function as described in the above standards, but with differences in certain dimensions, functional properties or material combinations.

The OPTO multigrip blind rivet with his especially embossed rivet shaft, is distinctly different to a standard blind rivet. Due to his constructive structural, the rivet guarantees lots of excellent performance characteristics: — large grip range — good filling capacity of the borehole — non-positive locking of the captive mandrel without clearance — no rattling sounds — dustproof and splash water-tight Preferred applications for OPTO multigrip blind rivets can be found in the field of vehicle manufacturing, in air conditioning technology as well as in the production of tanks and cntainers. The OPTO multigrip blind rivets in black (RAL 9005) and white (RAL 9010) are available from stock and provide a fast, flexible solution for a variety of applications. On request, colors from all major scales are produciable. Furthermore, we offer anodized rivets or designs with large painted heads eg. for facades.

Pneumatic-hydraulic, with permanent and intermittent extraction The BZ 103A is the latest version of the standard tool for reliable blind rivet processing and a real classic. The blind rivet connection itself is a non-detachable connection. However in order to be able to attach further detachable components GESIPA® has the threaded blind rivet in its product range. The threaded blind rivet has a stud with M5 or M6 external thread to which further parts can be mounted using an additional nut.

The GESIPA® TRI-FOLD® blind rivet forms three press lashes on the closing head side during setting. The advantages The large moulded lashes distribute the exerted clamping force evenly and gently onto the riveted material. Also, the large surface of the lashes offer excellent protection against the rivet being pulled through very soft, porous or brittle application parts. Thanks to its special design, the TRI-FOLD® is also able to compensate over-dimensional or irregular drill hole diameters. Application areas TRI-FOLD® blind rivets are excellently suited for the automotive field, e.g. for plastic panelling, car body parts and for the interior work inside vehicles, but also for all other applications that are particularly soft, brittle, easily deformed or porous.
