TesT Force transducers comply with the best technologies available. They incorporate our long experience as well as our customer's preferences and requirements for precise and robust devices for various applications. TesT Force transducers are particularly characterized by precision, quality, robustness, durability and convenient handling. On demand we also provide specially-designed force transducers with other dimensions and measuring ranges. TesT delivers all electrical force and torque transducers with TEDS chips (TEDS = Transducer Electronic Data Sheet nach IEEE 1451.4). The electronic units of the model 813 and the TesTController 850-USB may recognize sensors equipped with TEDS chips, read their properties and calibration data and automatically calibrate with them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors so that a complex recalibration is not required.

The small dimensions of the hydraulic force transducers of the model series TesT 1001 / 1011 / 1021 as well as the flat building method permit versatile applications. The small transducers were conceived for occasional control measurements, e.g. for adjusting or service work. The indicating instruments of model versions 1001 and 1011 have a diameter of 63 mm. The indicating instrument of model version 1021 can have a diameter of 63 mm or 100 mm. All model versions possess a drag indicator to display peak values.

Inside the multi-component force transducer are two webs, each offset by 90°, each with a strain gage full bridge, which convert the radially acting X / Y forces on the guide bush into an electrical signal. Due to the sensor body made from a block with its special structure, the sensor has a very high degree of dimensional accuracy and low crosstalk between the two forces. Due to the special design, the sensor has excellent linearity properties and is designed for a long service life in dynamic applications. The two independent signal connections allow flexible adaptation and further processing. The mobile evaluation electronics TesT 813 meet all demands that precise measurement processes require. They have been designed for use with TesT force and torque transducers, but they are also suitable for other resistance-based transducers. The devices consist of a process-controlled electronic unit with advanced software under Windows CE. Various functions are adapted to the daily requirements of quality assurance. An integrated data logger allows f.e., saving peak values and/or curves in xls files. Basic settings, that had been stored once, even remain when the device has been switched off. Because of the high measurement frequency of up to 2 kHz the model can be used for static and dynamic measurements. Sensors that are equipped with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet according to IEEE 1451.4) chips can be recognized and automatically calibrate. Traceable calibration of testing machines and instruments is essential for industrial quality control. Calibration certificates are a compelling proof of test equipment inspection for the standards DIN EN ISO 9000ff and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025. The time intervals for the calibration will depend on the applicable standard, but should normally not exceed 12 months. Attention should also be paid to the rules for local changes or repairs.
