The measurement technique of LaserDopplerVelocimetry (LDV) is one of the most frequently applied modern measurement techniques in fluid mechanics to perform accurate local flow velocity measurements, which exhibits the advantage of a very high local and temporal resolution. This light nozzle has patented fluid mechanics (patent no.: DE 19516780) and two different jet angles. With its eight nozzle inserts it slides in the pipe. The cleaning nozzle goes around bends and is successfully used in difficult pipes.

BORSIG has been manufacturing centrifugal compressors for process gases for almost 60 years. The BORSIG centrifugal compressor series comprises multistage integrally geared centrifugal compressors with up to 8 stages, with steam turbine, gas turbine or electric motor as driver with all auxiliary equipment (turnkey solutions) according to customer’s requirements. The compressors comply with the corresponding API design standards such as API 617 (chapter 3) and 672 (4th edition). The oil system is designed according to API 614 or manufacturer's standard. The development is based on the latest research results in fluid mechanics as well as in gear and bearing design.

This universal nozzle of heavy construction is characterized by high efficiency and absolute reliability. It is an efficient and low-cost alternative to the conventional standard products.

The torpedo nozzle that belongs to the most efficient sewer cleaning tools was designed for cleaning lines up to 400 mm in diameter. Two different jet angles contribute to an effective transport of dirt and silt. The torpedo nozzle can cope with difficult tasks in round as well as in egg-shaped pipes.

OUR IN-HOUSE TEST PLANT AND LAB In order to ensure the high quality and long service life of our agitators, we have set up an in-house plant for testing our agitators. At the end of the manufacturing process, all of our agitators undergo a specific test procedure with a final test run. Here, we can test agitators with a shaft length of up to twelve meters. When designing our agitators, we use fluid mechanics simulations in our in-house laboratory. All Geppert mixing systems are delivered with O&M Manual and worldwide technical service.
