Siegling Extremultus machine tapes are vital components of machinery in many industrial applications. Siegling Extremultus drag belts are special developments with superior mechanical and electrostatic characteristics which make conveying and handling electronic components more efficient and safe: due to the HC or HC+ characteristics (highly conductive or highly conductive plus) the static electricity that builds up in the conveyor can be discharged better in a controlled manner; due to simplified accumulation with TT types which produce consistently low friction coefficients on the top face and underside; due to a particularly high level of abrasion resistance, as well as stable, lint-free belt edges. Siegling Extremultus tangential belts have been optimized to suit the diverse range of yarn-manufacturing processes and different drive shapes. They play a major role in ensuring consistently high yarn quality and efficient production due to the following characteristics: superior abrasion-resistant coatings made of elastomer G or polyurethane with constant friction coefficients and long service lives; optimized surface pattern for the spindle and motor side; less belt creep and excellent levels of power transmission; energy-efficient polyester or aramide tension members; polyamide sheet tension members with good damping characteristics for high levels of effective pull; low-noise and low-vibration operation; antistatic finishes. Siegling Extremultus tangential belts are supplied as roll material, prepared for splicing or have already been spliced. With our splicing methods, homogeneous, reliable splices can be made efficiently while belts are still on the machinery.

Metal connectors with self tapping screws are provided for the fast connection of rubber belts using a cordless screwdriver. FTK connectors are also available for round balers and in a special version for grape harvesting machines. Our steel connectors come in galvanised steel or non magnetic stainless steel. FTK connectors can be installed just using a cordless screwdriver because the screws are self tapping. No hole drilling is needed. FTK connectors are available with screws and connecting cables in lengths up to 3,000 mm, depending on belt width. A variety of connecting rods, lock washers and screws is also available for the initial installation of FTK connectors or as spare parts, plus various cordless screwdrivers, a pneumatic screwdriver, brace, PZ 2 cross head bits and a magnetic bit holder.

Super Screw connectors are available in different versions of textile reinforced rubber abrasion resistant, heat resistant, oil and grease resistant, white FDA, self extinguishing, with textile on the running surface or in stainless steel. Screws are available in either galvanised or stainless steel. Super Screw connectors are inserted in the belt diagonally and from both sides. After the rubber layer is removed, the connector is installed using just a cordless screwdriver or, in underground mining, using a breast drill or pneumatic screwdriver. Super Screw® connectors are pre installed, depending on the belt width, in lengths up to 3,000 mm or in rolls up to 25,000 mm long. A variety of screws is also available for the initial installation of the connectors or as spare parts, plus various cordless screwdrivers, a pneumatic screwdriver, brace, PZ 2 or PZ 3 cross head bits and a magnetic bit holder.

Siegling Extremultus live roller belts are energy-saving, durable components of driven live rollers. The quality and performance of the belts determine how quickly and reliably items our customers’ items are distributed. The belt’s tension member plays a key role in this process. Today’s standard is polyester fabric (E). But polyamide sheet (P) or aramide fabric (A) are also used. The tension member is embedded in a thermoplastic intermediate layer. Rubber elastomer or urethane coat the two friction layers, which are the top face of the belt (towards the roller) and the underside of the belt (towards the drive and in some cases to the idler roller). The combination of tension member and coating lends the belt its special characteristics – tailored to conveyor type and purpose. The splice requires no extra adhesives (in the Aramid and Polyester line) and can be made quickly, easily and cleanly on site.

Keiper CROMA high-performance flat belts are made of fully synthetic polyamide foils, with a one-sided or two-sided adhesion coating of chrome-split leather. Fitted with a polyamide reinforcement. With a one-sided or two-sided coating of chrome-split leather, highly resistant to abrasion and wear. Chrome-split leather is used exclusively as a friction coating on power transmission belts as an alternative to nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR). CROMA belts with a coating of chrome-split leather are perfect for power transmission applications where the rollers are considerably contaminated by oil and dirt. In view of its slightly porous surface, chrome-split leather is air and humidity permeable and absorbs moisture; thus, it retains friction. However, the coefficient of friction of leather is lower than that for nitrile-butadiene rubber and steadily decreases during operation.

We have a complete range of polyurethane round belts for conveying and power transmission applications. PU round belts, extruded in open lengths, are homogeneous round profiles that can be welded for use as high-quality power transmission and conveying elements. Our stock mainly comprises solid profiles with a smooth or slightly roughened surface and hollow profiles for nipple connections. Several types have FDA/USDA approval and comply with EU Directive 2007/19/EC. Although we generally produce in open lengths, we can also produce all belts according to your specifications. Our round belts convey a wide range of products such as foodstuffs, glass, roof tiles, PC boards and many more.
