Model 9180 supports force, pressure and torque sensors operating on the strain gauge principle, as well as the connection of position and angle sensors in potentiometer or DC/DC configuration. It also allows the measurement of process signals ± 1 V/ 5 V/ 10 V or 0 ...1 mA, 0(4) ... 20 mA. The current measured value is indicated on the 14 mm high LED main display, while a second display located directly below provides a reading of the peak value. The display is particularly suitable for highly accurate measurements due to the high accuracy of 0.1%. It is also possible to monitor up to 4 limit values and provide the results via relay or transistor outputs. Thus the process value display can be used for classification, process and control tasks. The current measured value is frozen on the display by activating an external HOLD signal. The TARE function is useful for balancing out previous loads for example.

The SENSORMASTER 9163 covers a wide range of applications in which process values need to be measured, displayed, analyzed and transferred to higher-level control systems. Typical applications include measuring geometric values in production, for instance differential measurements, or testing material properties in the laboratory. The measured values can be transferred via USB, RS232 or analog output. Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids,etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345. The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell. The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The megohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 24508 is the right instrument for its use in laboratory as well as in industrial applications.

RESISTOMAT® model 2408 megohmmeter has been especially developed to measure extremely high resistance values with a high degree of accuracy. This instrument has a specifi cation that makes it suitable for all common applications. The measurement voltages equal those given in the DIN test regulations (e.g. DIN 51953, DIN 53482, DIN 54345, DIN 57281 and DIN 57411) for measuring the electrical resistance value across fi lms, fl oor coverings, test equipment, cables, moldable materials, rubber, plastics, insulating oils and the like. The RESISTOMAT® model 2329 is particularly suitable for fast measurements of low resistances in automated processes. Up to 50 measurements per second can easily be performed. The device complies with the latest CE guidelines and is designed for laboratory use as well as heavy-duty industrial applications. A 2-fold and 4-fold comparator with switching outputs has been included for classifi cation and selection; this feature is particularly useful for serial tests. One special application involves the measurement of contact resistances (dry-circuit measurement); the load voltage in this case is limited to 20 mV in order to prevent fritting (DIN IEC 512). The RS232 (standard) and IEEE488, USB and Ethernet (option) computer interfaces allow the set-up of fully automatic testing stations. The PLC interface allows easy integration into your production process control.

Fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values are possible with the milliohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 2316. Due to the rugged aluminium injection moulding desktop housing with membrane keypad it is suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environment likewise. The BH25 is a high resolution exposed linear encoder with interferometric measurement signal generation. The BH25 scale has a graduation period of 1µm. The interferometric laser scale principle generates a sinusoidal measurement signal with a signal period of 250nm in the read head. The BH25 is characterized by its small size and high signal quality. It is suitable for resolutions of up to 3.8pm. Due to the reflective scanning and the small design it is perfectly suited for high accuracy X/Y stages with linear motor drive as well as for measurement applications

The BS78 is a high accuracy exposed linera encoder with an interferometric signal generation in transmitted light design. The scale has a graduation period of 0.55µm. The LASERSCALE operating principle generates a sinusoidal measuring signal with a signal period of 138nm. This has an extremely high signal quality with a very low noise component. This allows resolutions of up to 2.1 pm to be generated. Due to the extremely low interpolation error, the BS78 is perfectly suited for ultra precision machining, measurement and calibration applications.
