Neodymium Magnetic Pads Steel plates backed with rubber-enclosed rare earth neodymium magnets that provide excellent holding and shear strength. Originally developed for retail applications, our neopads are now used across numerous industries where high performance is paramount. Ferrite Magnetic Pads Steel plates backed with resin-encased ferrite magnets that offer high holding and shear strength. With wide ranging applications, magpads provide effective holding and hanging solutions wherever a smooth ferrous surface is found.

Neodymium magnets are powerful yet discreet magnets, providing a far greater magnetic hold than other magnets at a fraction of the size. This makes neos a versatile option and particularly suited to applications where an unobtrusive solution is required or where space is at a premium. Our range of rare earth neodymium magnets is made up of an array of shapes and sizes to facilitate multiple uses, including but not limited to holding and hanging functions and closure applications. All our neodymium magnets are finished with a triple coating of nickel-copper-nickel to prevent corrosion and provide optimum performance up to 60°C. Our standard stock neodymium magnets are graded at N35, this is the most cost effective rating for use in retail displays, POS, exhibitions and closures. We can also supply higher rated magnets for specialist applications, including magnets for use in high temperature environments.

Neodymium magnet (aka NdFeB magnet), is the third generation of rare earth magnet, which is composed of Neodymium, Iron, Boron and a few transition metals. With high remanence, high coercive force, high energy product, and high performance /cost, Neodymium magnet is currently the strongest magnet available in the world. Manufacturing Process Neodymium, Iron, Boron and a few transition metals will be mixed into the Neodymium powder, then fine Neodymium powder will be compacted in a die and sintered, fusing the powder in a solid state. There are two ways of pressing die pressing and isostatic pressing. Sintered parts normally need some finish machining in order to meet final tolerances. Machining & Tolerance Generally, Neodymium magnet must be machined using diamondgrinding techniques. Sometimes, machining operations may be performed on Neodymium materials with carbide tools, but surface finishes thus obtained may be less than optimal.
