Displacement sensors models 8710 and 8711 with resistance tracks made of conductive plastic material are designed for a direct and accurate measuring of mechanical displacements. A special ball joint coupling is mountable on both ends of the driving rod. Because of this the sensor may be used free of clearance or lateral forces also with angular or parallel misalignment between sensor and measuring device. A special multi-fingered slider provides a good electrical contact also at high adjustment speeds or vibrations. The quality of a clear sheet is defined by the calender unit . For this reason, particular attention must be paid to the chromium plated and high-mirror polished solid calender rolls. These represent the quality for producing sheets with perfect surfaces. . The calender is a series of hard pressure rollers used to finish or smooth a sheet of plastic materials. These rollers are designed on vertical direction for PP, PS, PET however, for PET sheet only, rolls design as horizontal direction to reach high thicknesses while keeping homogeneity. Kuzey calender units provide high precision concentricity and flexural strength, even the thinnest of sheets can be manufactured with extreme accuracy. Each Roll is controlled with a separate thermo-regulators. Thermo-regulators can be adjusted separately from 10 – 90° C. Calender Thickness Motion control is by the servo and gearbox system.

POM is a semicrystalline thermoplastic and is characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties, unaffected by wet environments. POM offers good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including many solvents. Acetal provides high strength and stiffness coupled with easy machineability. POM-C - Delrin is also noted for its high mechanical strength, heat resistance and good antifriction properties. For parts which need to be dimensionally stable even exposed to humidity or wet environments, copolymeric Acetal offers better hot water, thermal and chemical resistance than homopolymeric Acetal. PA 6, natural / black extruded is a tough material with high resistance to abrasion and impact. PA 6 is commonly used as a substitution material for bronze, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, as it has significant weight advantages. PA 6, natural / black has a specific gravity of 1,15 g/cm3 and bronze has 8,8 g/cm3 making the comparative volume price very attractive.Using PA 6 also reduces lubrication requirements and is non-abrasive to mating surfaces.It features good mechanical properties.Nylons can absorb up to 8% water (by weight) under humidity or submerged in water. This increases the excellent shock and vibration resistance but can also lead to dimensional changes. Mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties are accordingly influenced by moisture absorption. Applications: Pulp and paper industry, offshore and marine, textile, general machine building, food industry, material handling, electronics, construction, mining, aerospace and many more.
