Whenever several valves are to be used in a confined space and with minimal piping, a module or strip solution is recommended. In contrast to single piping, the expense for valve piping, fittings, working time, and possible leaks is almost cut in half.

The lateral highpressure valves are valves with two or three connections and two switching positions. The pressure range extends from vacuum up to 500 bar. In this type of construction, the valve drive is not arranged coaxially, but laterally.

The cartridge valves are available in a nominal width of 10 to 15 mm. Depending on the pressure difference, drives with one, two, or three pistons are required. The tedious dismantling of the entire valve body from the pipeline using a large wrench is no longer necessary; only the three screws have to be loosened. Another advantage is the consistently small valve diameter, even at the highest system pressures. The drives have small diameters and are arranged in tandem, one behind the other. This means that these valves can be installed next to each other to save space, even in extremely confined spaces. A version with a hose seal is available for heavily soiled or sticky media.

Pneumatic fittings - hand valves (shut-off valves, pneumatic valves) are used for turning air pressure on and off for pneumatic devices. The three-ways control hand valve, when closed, discharges the residual pressure from the output side (device). Therefore it assures safety at adjustment or repair of the connected devices. Pneumatic timers are used for the precise time control of pneumatic signals in pneumatic circuits or systems. The pressure-independent function of time delay starts when pressure is applied to the control port. After the pre-selected time is elapsed, an internal 3/2 way valve is switched. The pneumatic timer is reset to the initial condition if the control port is vented for at least 300 ms. The adjustable time delay depends on the chosen version and amounts between 0.5 and 180 s. Due to its design the control pressure level must not be below working pressure level. As a result of the fire-risk evaluation according to EN 13463-1, the pneumatic timers are not subject to ATEX regulations. This means they may also be used in explosion hazardous areas as defined in IIG/ IID.
