The classic form of blind rivet nuts with parallel shank for use in dry and grease-free components . The availability in aluminum, steel and stainless steel with all head shapes (flat head, countersunk head and small countersunk head) in sizes from M3 -M12 provides a large choice for all applications .

SFM-PL folding blind rivet nuts are constructed for those applications where a high pull-out strength is requested. Blind rivet nuts with continuous hexagonal (Hexaform) or partial hexagonal shank (Hexatop) are another possibility to avoid the rotation of the fastener in the component as alternative to knurled shafts. Especially with coated components or when using tools smaller working stroke you can achieve excellent results.

The knurled shaft of the blind rivet nut provides a locking device to avoid the turning of the insert in the component. These knurled blind rivet nuts are used preferably in components with lower regidity (component material is less "hard" than the material of the blind rivet nut).They are available with different heads (dome, countersunk and small countersunk) and as open and closed end versions.

The HONSEL HEADLESS blind rivet nut is a typical example of product development at Honsel. Originally designed and produced as a special solution, the nut has been incorporated directly into the standard range due to the great interest shown. The blind rivet nut is set with a projection of 0 mm in smooth holes, without countersinking. The elimination of the "countersinking" process at the hole offers enormous savings potential. Thanks to the 0 mm protrusion, components can be assembled without interfering edges or can slide over each other. . The FireBird® Pro S Gold Edition with mechanical setting stroke adjustment. When setting a blind rivet nut size of the same length in consistent material thicknesses constant setting stroke should be used. The setting stroke corresponds to the distance the mandrel is drawn into the nose piece during the setting process and thus how far the blind rivet nut is upset. With the setting stroke adjustment this path can be set mechanically on the setting tool.
