The measurement technique of LaserDopplerVelocimetry (LDV) is one of the most frequently applied modern measurement techniques in fluid mechanics to perform accurate local flow velocity measurements, which exhibits the advantage of a very high local and temporal resolution. This training provides an in-depth introduction to the fundamentals of the two closely related areas aerodynamics and fluid dynamics. We teach the basics and advanced knowledge on the following topics: Fluid mechanics; Aerodynamics; Thermodynamics; Gas dynamics; Aerothermodynamics and similarity relationships; (Thermal) turbomachinery; Flow measurement. Together, we will create an individual training plan tailored to your needs.
