The reliability and safety of a sensor is extremely important, particularly in high-pressure applications such as water-jet cutting equipment and hydraulic circuits. The dynamic loading encountered in these applications requires the use of sensors that are specially adapted for high pressure ranges. It is exactly these tough requirements that are satisfied by the model number 8221 sensor. With dynamic pressures, for example, an unlimited number of measurements can be taken if the pressure lies within the range from 0 ... 70% full scale. We design and manufacture individual test systems for the pressure testing of valves and pumps. Merecs Engineering has a competent network of partners for this purpose. Within this framework, we carry out the risk assessment, design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning. In addition, we connect the systems to the individual IT infrastructures (databases, ERP systems, MS PowerBI) of our customers.

In order to prove the quality of the fluid-carrying parts, all hoses, pipes, pressure vessels and other components are put under pressure until they burst. The process is precisely measured and documented in order to optimally design the components for specific applications.

The Poppe + Potthoff impulse test stands test the operating or fatigue strength of various metal and plastic components. The endurance test in our high-pressure test systems simulates the life-cycle under varying loads. The failure tests thus show the potential weaknesses of the components with respect to design and material. The pressure is optionally modulated as a sine wave, trapezoid curve or needle pulse. Our test stands are characterized by a special ergonomics and are designed by Poppe + Potthoff machine design. Due to our flexible modular design, our machines are very variable, so that the pressure and volume range is designed according to the customer’s requirements. Of course, our systems are UL or CE compliant as required. In addition, we offer you service and support directly on-site.

With the purge air method, heat recovery for balanced air mass flows can be determined for alternating, decentralised ventilation units. The uncertainties of the direct measuring method used so far due to inhomogeneous velocity and temperature profiles at the outlet of the ventilation units are circumvented by the scavenging air method and the measuring accuracy is higher. With the optional humidity conditioning the moisture recovery can also be determined. Further thermal performance indicators are the air volume flow in alternating operation and the balance, which can also be determined with the test bench. The test stand is equipped with an auxiliary fan so that continuously operating ventilation units can also be measured with the direct measuring method.

We develop and build test stands for pumps and can refer to several references in this field. In addition, we build press-off facilities and design them individually, including suitable risk assessment. Our process visualisation is suitable for customer presentations of the running pumps directly at the pump test stand. We are experienced in test system development for leakage testing, life time testing and end-of-line test stands in the field of gas & hydrogen technology. We also have a network of suppliers and partners who provide key components for leakage measurement, piping, sealing and instrumentation. As a general contractor and integrator, Merecs Engineering can individually design, assemble and commission the test system at our customers' sites.

EOL test stand for e-charging columns and their power electronics for the simulation of different electrical loads and mains fluctuations. The test stand has automatic contacting and achieves high test throughputs in end-of-line operation. Different variants of the power electronics of electric charging columns can be tested. On the software side, Merecs Engineering relies on NI-LabVIEW and NI-TestStand.

This system is very valuable for testing the durability and expected life of the transmissions, axles, gears, transfer cases and shafts under various scenarios. It is hard to do vehicle level durability tests and without the need of getting the vehicle on the road for replicating claims caused by the powertrain, such type of a custom system help replicate the driving conditions where problems occur and the engineering team can develop a solution and iterate on the bench. Easy to use user interface; simplicity in get the system running in a target time is our most important goal. Operators in a test center can quickly receive training and begin running a variety of scenarios. Data from low speed channels such as sensors including thermocouples, RTD temperature sensors, pressure sensors and others can be collected whereas data from fast channels such as acceleration or microphone are collected through data collection (DAQ) systems, depending on the customer's preference.

Alpha Cabins (Determination of acoustic properties of materials) Cabins are used to determine the acoustic absorption properties of materials and are generally called "acoustic test cabins" or "reverberation rooms". These cabins are designed to detect the sound absorption properties of materials against frequency, measure their acoustic performance and determine their properties. Here are some of different types of cabins: ​ Reverberation Rooms: In these rooms, sound waves hit and reflect on surfaces and resonate for a while. In this process, the acoustic absorption capabilities of the material are measured. Acoustic Test Booths: These booths are designed to evaluate the acoustic performance of specific materials or products. They often include high-sensitivity microphones, sound sources and measuring devices. Acoustic Rooms: These rooms are generally large and can be specially designed. It is used for larger-scale or special tests of the acoustic properties of materials.

Development of rotating components require intensive testing. While the main goal may be reaching durability and life targets,noise , vibration, temperature and other parameters may play an important role for the customer expectations. Therefore, Novosim offers a customizable testing dynamometer which may be used to in the product development of passenger, commercial, heavy duty or even military vehicle components. Software is easy to use and also highly customizable allowing different product lines to be tested under a single system. With the help of regenerative braking, electricity is recovered and loops back to the test system providing efficient operation. Assuming the tests may run about 1 month, the consumption can be an important parameter for cost control. Different types of data can be collected and stored in a database for further comparisons and tracking of the development process. System automatically generates a report which is also customizable.

This test bench for filtering fabrics is a unique instrument conceived and manufactured by us. This product has been designed in order to test filtering fabrics and identify any filtration leaks. The Box Opening Pressure Tester has been designed to measure the opening force of flat stacked carton boxes. The Box Opening Pressure Tester is used for the development and quality control of cartons during production, there for speeding up production set-up time. This motorized test stand is a highly configurable single column force tester for tension and compression measurement applications up to 300 lbF (1.5kN). It has a rugged design suitable for laboratory and production enviroments. Ballistic Block Damping Bricks Ballistic Rubber Block Specially formulated with rubber supported by flame retardant chemicals. Due to the fact that rubber is produced by vulcanizing under high pressure and high temperature, the rubber is able to trap bullets much higher than its volume. The hardness of the produced blocks was adjusted to protect the projectile from splashing on the surface. Blocks on the side walls are produced in such a way that the projectiles do not bounce the bullet for interactive targets. It is designed to be used in Homeland Security, Military and Police Schools, Security and Special Protection Systems and in all shooting ranges.
