Wraparound Couplings are designed to seal cracks in drainage pipes by simply wrapping around the the cracked area and connecting. This eliminates the need to cut out and section of pipeline and replace with new.

Bushes are used as an additional component part of either Shear Banded Couplings or Lateral Connection Saddles. The purpose of a bush is to increase the outside diameter of a pipe to be connected if the pipe is too small for the coupling being used or the saddle being used.

Adaptor Couplings, sometimes referred to as reducer couplings, are designed to connect unadopted drainage pipes with different outside diameters – connecting larger drainage pipes to smaller drainage pipes and vice versa.

Drain Couplings, sometimes referred to as couplers, are simple, easy to use drainage pipe connectors. Drain Couplings are designed to connect two pipes with the same or similar (within 10mm) outside diameter.

Shear banded couplings are specifically designed to connect and repair pipes on adopted sewer and drainage applications, as required by the UK water companies. The stainless steel central band protects the joint under shear loads and helps to keep the joining pipes aligned, helping to prevent pipe displacement.

Fully compatible with existing ShrinKit gun and hose, this coupling is a push fit device that instantly attaches the gun to the hose, so no more need to keep screwing the hose on and off, so reduces user error when connecting, saving time and improved portability.

As the name suggests ball lenses are spherical lenses mostly made out of High Refractive Index Glass such as Sapphire, and LASFN-9 Glass. The reason ball lenses are most commonly used is for their ability to couple light in and out of fibres. The key feature of ball lenses is their short back focal length allowing for precision coupling where size or space is a limiting factor in the system. Ball lenses are typically used in pairs with one lens acting as a collimator for the second to focus the light back into the coupled fibre. Where a more compact solution is required a half-ball lens is typically more suitable. Ball Lenses are widely used for focusing & coupling light into & out of fibres. With the high refractive index of Sapphire (Al2O3) material, it yields a low spherical aberration that can be used in the range of UV from 200nm up to 5µm, and with it being one of the hardest materials they are resistant to damage. The key feature of ball lenses is their short back focal length allowing for precision coupling where size or space is a limiting factor in the system. Typically used in pairs, where one lens acts as collimator for the second to focus the light back into the coupled fibre. Ball Lenses are manufactured from a single substrate of glad and therefore, depending on the geometry of the input source, can focus or collimate light.
