Aspheric lens surfaces are used to correct spherical aberration (where the converging light from a lens does not have a common focal point, resulting in a distorted image) in lasers and imaging. Traditional spherical lenses cannot collimate light effectively because even small angles of incidence can produce spherical aberrations. This can mean that several components may be required to get the desired result. The non-spherical surface of an aspheric lens allows a single component to effectively focus or collimate even highly divergent emissions, potentially replacing a multi-lens system with a single aspheric lens. Dim-to-warm is a LED lighting which emulates a halogen lamp when dimmed, so when you dim it down (reduce its brightness) the colour temperature changes to a warmer colour. How it works? We are used to LED lighting dimming but keeping the same colour rate, just changing the brightness. On the contrary, a dim-to-warm LED lighting is made by two different areas, one with a cooler colour temperature and another with a very warm colour temperature. When dimming the lighting, it will first interact with the cooler area, and once completely dimmed it will start working on the warmer area.
