Helapet strives to introduce added value to our filtration products, using consultancy based manufacturing and comprehensive testing to meet customer expectations. Our Vari-Disk® Service allows clients to select from a wide range of filter media, inlet/outlet connectors and housing sizes to best suit individual filtration requirements. Compliant to ISO 13485:2013, our membrane disc filters are in-house manufactured using the latest injection moulding and ultrasonic welding technology to deliver a top-quality product. All Helapet filters are tested before despatch and supplied with full lot traceability and certification.

STERALine PBT Filter housings are part of our hygienic filter housing range for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, API, fine chemicals and semiconductor industry. All hygienic housings are manufactured under strict quality control in facilities that only use Stainless Steel to avoid cross contamination of materials. STERALine PBT filter housings come with optional 0.8Ra internal finish and triclamp connections. A range of optional accessories, connections and finishes available on request. STERALine GT Gas cartridge filter housings are the newest addition to our range of sanitary range. Designed and manufactured specially for gas filtration in beverage, pharmaceutical and hygienic applications, STERALine GT Series filter housings feature robust 316L Stainless Steel construction, hygienic surface finish and a free draining design which is easy to clean. STERALine Vent cartridge filter housings have been specially designed for hygienic tank vent applications.

Siga Filtration self-cleaning filters provide continuous filtration of low and medium viscosity liquids and have very low maintenance requirements. The KSF Series self-cleaning filters do not require backflushing which results in less fluid waste, zero interruption, and fewer maintenance parts. Applications include filtration of low to medium viscosity liquids in water, wastewater, inks, paint, varnishes, oils, and food products.

Filtration Services have undertaken many filter refurbishment projects over recent years, giving new life to old filtration equipment. Our main area of expertise is the rotary drum vacuum filter and refurbishment can be undertaken on or off site. During filter refurbishment work worn or broken parts will be replaced or if items are obsolete our in-house design team will design and manufacture new components.

Filtration Services can provide filter spares and consumable items for all of our filtration equipment. We can also provide replacement parts for most other filters used in the chemical and process industries and redesign a wide range of replacement components for old or obsolete filters using our in-house design facility.

For all precoat knife discharge rotary drum vacuum filters it is important that the knife advance system operates accurately and steadily so that the optimum usage of precoat material on the precoat filter can be attained. This latest design of knife discharge system has been developed by Filtration Services following many years of practical experience with earlier mechanical, hydraulic and electro-mechanical assemblies. All Filtration Services precoat filters benefit from this unique AKAS system, we can also adapt it to suit most existing precoat filter assemblies (e.g. Stockdale, Paxman, Dorr-Oliver, Eimco etc) and install it on site.

Similar in general operation to the rotary drum vacuum filter, the rotary table vacuum filter (RTVF) is particularly suited to rapid-settling, fast-filtering crystalline suspensions. RTVFs are continuous filtration units and able to handle large flow rates. The orientation of the rotary table enables a thick filter cake to form on the surface. As the table rotates, the filter cake is cut from the table surface using a specially designed auger. A small, residual heel of solids is retained on the filter which helps to protect the filter medium.

Possibly one of the simplest filtration units used in industry today, the tipping pan filter is ideal for batch processing rapid-settling, fast-filtering crystalline suspensions. The filter is an open-topped vessel which is fitted with a false base, drainage grids and filter medium. The solid/liquid suspension is fed onto the surface of the pan and, at the same time, vacuum is applied to the base of the pan. The vacuum assists in dewatering the suspension thereby producing a filter cake on the filter medium. The filtered liquid (filtrate) is collected from the base of the pan through a special valve assembly. The filter cake can be washed in the pan as many times as is required by the process to achieve the desired product purity. Once the washing stage has completed, the pan is inverted and the filter cake is discharged.

The Rotavac One is our complete compact pilot filter station. Easy to install and operate it is ideal for small volume applications, process validation and pilot-scale trials. The unit has a small 2m x 1m footprint, comprising of 1.3m² skid mounted rotary vacuum drum filter (RDVF), filtrate receiver, filtrate pump, vacuum pump, blower (scraper discharge version only), local control panel. Two versions are available: Rotavac One S, scraper discharge and Rotavac One P, precoat discharge. These filters are ideal for larger test programmes under actual manufacturing conditions. PVH range of single and multi-cartridge industrial housings is suitable for industrial liquid applications. The standard high flow filter housing can be configured to accept between 1 to 7 high flow cartridges and caters for flows more than 200 m3/hr up to 1,400 m3/hr. Pressure rated to 10bar, the housing is leg mounted. A single high flow housing replaces a multi-round holding 8 to 10 cartridges. The housings are available in vertical or horizontal orientation to make installation of high flow cartridges as easy as possible. Housings are supplied 40” and 60” lengths to maximise cartridge surface area available.

Our housing ranges for liquid or gas housings are ideal for use in a any new installation or plant extension. Housings are designed to suit the application, can be provided in industrial, hygienic or gas styles and in a range of sizes to allow as standard liquid flows up to 500 m3/hr and gas flows up to 7,000 m3/hr.
