All individually QA checked and metrology tested for quality to ensure parts meet customer specification. Supplied in a range of sizes and shapes with custom coatings tailored to meet your individual applications. Knight Optical supply precision optical components to customers with Heat Shielding requirements. Our IR-cut filters allow good transmission levels of visible light but cut off IR and UV radiation. Our precision grade filters have an AR coating to increase their visible transmission. In many systems that require heat shielding while still needing visibility an IR-cut filter can be used. All individually QA checked and metrology tested for quality to ensure parts meet customer specification. Infra-red interference Shortpass filters are designed to transmit wavelengths shorter than the “cut-off” of the filter and to block bands above that. In many systems that require heat shielding while still needing visibility a shortpass filter can be used. These can attenuate infrared radiation and allow through visible light, which allows your temperature sensitive equipment to be visible. Designed specifically for marine use and manufactured using durable marine tested materials, they’re built to withstand the toughest of environments. We offer three types of marine wiper systems, Clearview wiper, Straightline wiper and Pantograph wiper systems. Each wiper system has its own range of benefits and operational types, from electric to pneumatic; single and twin blades. Once installed, these wipers are robust, durable and need little maintenance.

Clearview wiper helps to maintain constant visibility on deck in the harshest conditions. Unlike conventional wipers that allow rain, snow, and spray to return to the window between strokes, the Clearview’s motor-driven toughened glass disc spins at speeds of up to 1,400rpm to provide unrestricted visibility. With 2 operating speeds, your crew can navigate safely no matter what conditions they’re faced with. Constructed with toughened glass and a water-tight sea resistant aluminium frame, the Clearview wiper is easily fitted within existing bridge windows. Once installed, the robust, durable design needs no maintenance. Heated versions are available for vessels operating in colder climates.

Product Features: • Heavy duty extruded enclosures designed to house P.C. boards or for equipment interfacing. • Sized for standard Eurocard's. • P.C. boards mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body, • Rugged body constructed from one piece, extruded aluminium with a minimum thickness of .06" (1.5mm). • Extruded aluminium body includes a recessed area for labels or membrane keypad. • Diecast aluminium end panels are rugged - yet easy to machine. Kemtron’s EMI shielding vent panels or attenuvents are made from aluminium or steel honeycomb mounted into a frame. Many aluminium frame styles are available together with different thicknesses and configuration of honeycomb to meet different shielding requirements. Protective grills are available for vulnerable areas together with dust filtration foams. Many plated or painted finishes can be specified.
