Heskins welcome heavy-duty bonding tape to its already vast range. This wonderful creation is a double tape used to bond or mount materials together. This is fashioned from a durable acrylic foam, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, both of which are solvent-free, which is applied to both sides. This generates a solid bond before reaching full adhesion in roughly three days.

The FUELVAC® double skin lining system, Abfad’s patented solvent-free vacuum monitored lining process, bringing a new, innovative dimension to storage tank repairs and tank corrosion protection. Cost and time savings over traditional methods are significant and tank downtime is greatly reduced, which means that the repaired tank can be brought back into full use in a very short timescale; whereas traditional methods of storage tank maintenance can leave the tank owner without the use of a very valuable asset for an extended period of time. The double skin tank is then connected to remote vacuum monitoring applications that check the integrity of the installation every second of every day, ensuring piece of mind and a totally professional approach to tank storage maintenance. Rotafix Aquachem is a solvent-free coating used a membrane for tanking, waterproofing, gas barrier and as a high-performance floor coating. Rotafix Aquachem is a 2-part liquid epoxy that can be applied as a floor finish. Combining aggregates with the top coat creates a skid resistant surface. Adding flakes to the top coat will give a decorative finish. It has been used extensively in food preparation areas and medical environments as it is easy to clean, resistant to chemical cleaners and resistant to the formation of mould. Rotafix Aquachem can be used as a liquid applied damp proof membrane. The liquid membrane can be applied to prevent moisture ingress both positively and negatively. So if it is applied to the outside of a wall, water will not penetrate, equally if is applied internally then moisture penetrating the substrate will equally not penetrate. The average bond strength of Aquachem is 4N/mm2 , it would require a head of water of 600m to force the Aquachem to break away.

DELO-DUALBOND adhesives are one part solvent-free adhesives suitable for bonding, sealing and potting applications. They have good resistance to thermal shock, and some products are optically clear for large-area bonding, especially suitable for display assembly. They use a combination of light (UV or VIS) and either heat or humidity to achieve full cure. They are used in applications that require a very quick initial handling strength, with full cure being achieved off-line or in a subsequent process where cycle time is not so critical (e.g. in-line reflow ovens). DELO-KATIOBOND UV curing (320-400nm) and light activated (400-550nm) epoxy adhesives are one part solvent free epoxies suitable for bonding, sealing and potting applications. DELO-KATIOBOND light activated adhesives can be used in opaque applications, as once the adhesive has been initiated via visible light, curing starts due to the decomposition of the photo-initiator and continues to completion. The range has good temperature resistance, up to 180 degrees C and excellent chemical resistance, making them ideal for automotive and harsh environment use. The epoxies are dry to touch after cure (no oxygen inhibition occurs). Cured products exhibit low shrinkage, resulting in low stress on delicate devices.
