Our sample tubes are used for X-ray fine structure analysis of single crystals, powder specimens, and liquid crystals. Based on the low absorption through the glass the extremely thin-walled capillaries allow the analysis of small samples sealed in a gas and moisture proof environment. According to the Debye-Scherrer method or in gerneral SAXS (small angle x-Ray scattering) and WAXS (wide angle x-Ray scattering) measurements can be made with our mark tubes, which are also named XRD capillaries. The wall thickness of only about 10 µm makes the tubes particularly suitable for high-precision measurements. Thanks to the wide funnel at the upper end, samples can be filled easily into tubes even with the smallest diameter. Absorption coefficients Our test tubes are manufactured of various types of glass with different linear absorption coefficients, so that a suitable tube can be found for practically every application. High quality standards are maintained during production, which...

We supply suitable tubes for storing and handling small samples. Microanalysis tubes have rounded bottoms and are fitted with an intermediate partition. The shaped rim ensures optimum sealing with a suitable stopper plug, which we can also supply. As an alternative to the stopper plug seat, the tubes can be made with a flanged rim. The intermediate partition in the upper part of the tube seals off the actual sample chamber, so that the chamber volume is very small. Nonetheless, the tube's long base body ensures convenient handling. Our microanalysis tubes are available in clear glass as well as amber glass for light-sensitive samples. The tubes are made of high-quality soda glass with diameters of 5...7 mm and a convenient length of 80 mm.

We offer a wide range of tubes for the automatic or manual determination of the melting or boiling points of liquids and solids. For this, the samples are heated slowly in the test tube until they reach their melting or boiling point. Depending on the application and the temperature range, we use the following types of glass for our melting and boiling point tubes: Soda glass (standard) Borosilicate glass Quartz glass Optional end shapes: open at both ends one end closed both ends closed curved Dimensions: Length 50-300 mm Outer diameter 0,6-2 mm Inner diameter 0,3-1,6 mm U-tubes for determining the melting point Apart from the standard melting point tubes, we also manufacture special U-shaped tubes of soda glass. Hereby, the two legs of the U-tube have different lengths. As an additional option, the U-tubes can be fitted with a small funnel on one or both legs. Melting-& boiling point determination tubes

We manufacture reagent and centrifuge tubes in standard sizes and also with special dimensions and versions from soda glass, borosilicate glass, neutral glass, and quartz glass – optionally with or without flanged rim. All our tubes have a flame burnished rim and can be supplied with a rounded, flat or pointed conical bottom. We are able to process tubes with diameters up to 40 mm, and lengths up to about 500 mm – also thick-walled tubes. Special reagent micro tubes We are able to manufacture reagent micro tubes with rounded bottoms, i.e. with very small dimensions. For example, soda glass tubes with rounded bottom, flame burnished rim, 3 mm diameter, and a length of 20 mm. Test tubes with notch for thermal processes These special test tubes were developed to enable ventilation of the tube’s interior during a thermal process. The notch prevents complete closure and thus an over pressure.

Small tubes are required for handling and storing small quantities of samples. To comply with these requirements, we have adapted and extended our manufacturing capability. We are therefore now able to produce very short and very small sample tubes without problems. For example, tubes with 3 mm diameter, and a length of 20 mm.

Our weighing bottles and micro beakers are used specifically for weighing and storing very small samples. These small containers are particularly suited for use on precision balances, as their empty weight is extremely low. They are available in a range of sizes. Our microanalysis tubes are ideal for storing minimum quantities – also of materials and substances that are light sensitive. Click here for more information. Weighing bottles

We manufacture various sizes of small glasses for a wide range of applications. They are mostly made of high-grade neutral glass (clear or amber), with soda glass as an alternative. The bottle necks can be made with a flanged rim for sealing with aluminium crimp caps as well as plastic or rubber septa. Threaded necks for most standard threaded caps are also possible. Our standard bottle volumes are 2 ml and 4 ml.

Bottles with fixed inserts offer several advantages: For example, fixed inserts cannot fall out of the bottle or move inside it. Moreover, the identical alignment permits samples to be filled / removed automatically and without problems. The time-consuming manual insertion into the bottles is eliminated. Similarly, manual emptying by upending the bottle is possible without the insert falling out. This is made possible by fixing the insert at top and bottom of the bottle with synthetic resin. For high-temperature applications, we provide bottles with fused inserts. Hereby, the bottle and the insert are carefully fused together at specified points. Other applications are also conceivable, e.g. in which mechanical operations such as homogenizing are carried out in the bottle.

Filling the very small NMR tubes for the Bruker Match™ system is a particular challenge. Therefore, we have developed two different needles specifically for this task, which greatly simplify the filling procedure. While one needle is intended for use with a standard one-way syringe, the other needle is fitted with an integral plunger. Like our NMR tubes, both needles are made of high-grade borosilicate glass 3.3.As an accessory for the needles with syringe coupling, we also supply one-way syringes with only 0,5 ml volume.
